Pomona is a completely charming and beautiful little town nestled away in a sea of nature and country living.
Thankfully, Pomona also attracts a crowd of quirky and alternative people who just make it a relaxing and fun place to hang out in.
Trail 518 fits in here perfectly.
It was a refreshingly cool but sunny winter's morning when we arrived fresh from Brisbane's increasingly busy traffic. We decided to sit outside and make the most of it: a cold day in Queensland is a real treat after all.
I desperately needed something hot in my face made of coffee and bacon. So I grabbed a bucket of cafe latte and the ubiquitous Breakfast Burger.
My latte was creamy and delicious and I found myself instantly wanting more. The coffee blend they use is also for sale there I noticed. I will be getting some beans for home next time.
The Breakfast Burger, as it happened, turned out to be utterly fantabulous. The use of Swiss cheese and aioli are genius and they really took my breakfast burger expectations to the next level.
My wife went with a morning blend of tea and the smashed avocado on sourdough. She completely loved the dusting of crumbled fetta, as did I, when I finished it for her.
