Went into the Bakery today late afternoon today to grab a pie and drink to drop off to my husband for a late lunch. During the conversation with the Bakery owner who’s name was Peter found out that my husband was at work and was a Paramedic at the Irymple station. Next thing Peter started grabbing Finger buns, scones, biscuits and made up a tray of slices and eclairs and asked me to take them to the station as a thank you for their service. What a wonderful thing - so humbling in such difficult times that a small business is so community minded. It is one of a few small cafes and stores along Ilex Street in Red Cliffs and situated approximately halfway between Indi Avenue and Heytesbury Avenue.
