Red Cliffs Club — Restaurant in Victoria

What a beautiful club you have in Red Cliffs. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming. The girls serving behind the bar were amazing, also friendly and welcoming. The same can't be said for the older blonde female in the bistro, she made us feel very unwelcome, almost a burden to serve. We, as a group of 13, had been travelling for 11 days, and only just arrived in Red Cliffs. Once unpacked and settled we decided to have an evening meal at your club. I understand, ideally, a large group booking should have been made, but I thought an hours notice would've been ample time. This female was very short and sharp in her manner, borderline rude, with most of our group. I'm not sure what her problem was with us, as we are a pretty easy going group, and the bistro wasn't overly busy. Having said that, the young girl that delivered our meals was a delight....

So get this. I’m a Junior at the redcliffs Fire brigade, and on Sundays the juniors go with the fire department staff out for lunch at the redcliffs club. (we’ve done this many times) and today we go in and sit at a table when a very aggressive manager come up to us and notifies us to leave even after the fireman explain that they have parents consent authorising the Fire Brigade to be in charge of us when we are with them. Food and staff were amazing. Did however try to play a game of pool and was verbally abused by the people playing when we tried to play on a table not in use. Was absolutely disgusting behaviour and felt very unsafe and intimidated. One of the male players even threatened my mum and asked to “take it to the car park” all because we just wanted to play a game of pool. The kind man at the bar said we were more than welcome to play but the people on the other tables had a different idea.
