Renmark Patisserie — Restaurant in Renmark

Definitely our bookmarked bakery stop when we come thru Renmark!

The pastry on the pasties is really nice and the fillings are very tasty.

We searched 3 to 4 different bakeries and patisseries around 1pm yesterday and no one had anything that was vegetarian, and or that wasn’t made with wholemeal pastry (gross) or if in stock at all..

some only had maybe 6 items left.. (TOTAL)

Then we found Renmark patisserie - clearly know their customers as the warmer was still well stocked at 1 and kept being topped up. Even what wasn’t ready for us they were very accommodating and used their super quick warmer to heat them up just right. (No soggy pasty!)

Their yeast products are great too - super tasty cinnamon scrolls w some well made coffee for later...

Had chilli pasty .. Sensational 9/10. Had pepper pie . 5/10 .. The flavour was Sensational but unfortunately the base was very poor . As a baker I rate my pies with a pastry mark 50% of the value of the pie ..And a pie must be able to be eaten with 1 hand . No hope with this pie .. Bottom fell out of it .. I would still highly recommend.. As it was still a very good pie .. I'm just a hard scorer when it comes to the pastry ..Especially the base .. Sausage roll was very nice as well .. Unfortunately they where out of custard tarts ..Another...

Will never go here ever again. Ordered two chicken & cheese sandwiches and had to wait over 30 minutes for them. My family ordered pies and obviously got them straight away. Family finished their meals before I even looked like getting mine. I went up politely and asked where they were. Only to be told by the arrogant young coffee maker that “they will be on their way soon”

The girls asked for pastries & had zero sauce even thought they asked for it. Not too sure what they were squeezing out of the bottle. But it wasn’t sauce.
