A few months ago my wife and I went for a short stay for 4 days in Robe. One of the places we stumbled across was this small but very absolutely amazing place to eat out on one of the days for lunch, the food and the atmosphere at this place is just incredible. You could purchase a cooked lobster and take it back to your motel. But that would rob you or eliminate the experience of eating something fresh, local and on site. I asked the young lady if we can purchase a cooked lobster and eat it on site. She said there are some tables on the other side of the shop and we were more than welcomed to have a sit down while the food purchased was brought to us. The order was brought out to us within 5 minutes, The cost of The lobster (was to die for), Chips, squid rings ,dim sims and drinks less than what we expected. Which made the price very very reasonable. Overall very friendly service and the staff providing service excellence. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Read moreFresh seafood including prawns and oysters. Came in just before 2pm only to be told they were closing, however, google shows a 2:30pm close. Was met with gruffness but suppose it has been the end to a long day for those serving. Would come back for the seafood but earlier in the day.
I appreciate you might close early from time to time for a variety of reasons, and I certainly don’t begrudge you family time, however, it remains fact that you advertise a 2:30 close. My review was balanced and fair.

Read moreIn hindsight, I should’ve spoken to the manager. However, I wasn’t in the headspace to argue over a few dollars. I also recognised the other staff were busy and customers were waiting. I didn’t want to cause a scene over a small matter. Although it’s late, this is my feedback for the manager going forward. I don’t want to negatively affect the business. I only want my case heard so it can’t be repeated. I’ve lived in Australia for nearly 25 years, so I can differentiate between a $5 and $10 note. Thanks for your time
(Paid $50 (2x$20 and 1x$10 notes) for $44 worth of product. Did not get all of my change back. Staff member insisted I gave them a $5 note instead of $10. They implied I could not differentiate between a $10 from $5.
