Wish I could give ZERO. I was so excited to go to this buffet lunch and it’s was so bad I don’t even know where to start. Lined up to get plates and had to wait over 5 mins for wet plates and small amount of cutlery. Started down the line and most of the food containers were empty (no garlic bread, no lasagne, no salads etc etc). Everything looked dry and unappealing. Made it to the roast section AGAIN nothing but a few dried out roast potatoes. As I walked past the dessert area on way back to the table I was underwhelmed as well. All they had was chocolate mud cake and blueberry muffins cut into smaller sizes. And the fruit platter was NOTHING like pictured in the advertisement all it had was honey dew melon sliced up. I decided I’d try the prawns even tho they looked repulsive and yep they were repulsive. They tasted like they had a wet bread crumb texture to them. I’ve never eaten prawns ever that have tasted this foul. I had 1 and couldn’t take another bite. Then the icing on the cake was a family arrived (charged when there was literally no food left) and they put a baby high chair at the table for the baby to sit in and it was so dirty it looked like it had come from a side of the road pick up. I said to the lady worker “you can’t put a baby in that” she came over with a cold cloth and wiped it over and then left. When I went up and said that it’s still not cleaned, I was told and shown that it can’t be cleaned WOW not even a hot cloth or any disinfectant or proper cleaning stuff to begin with, so I told them if it can’t be cleaned well throw it away, as no baby should have to be put in that filth in any restaurant. We left and I will never ever return to this DUMP on the green. O and I hope that’s not mould inside whatever the hell this ball thing was. Can’t believe we were charged $25 each for such poor choice and poorly cooked food in an advertised buffet lunch that had mostly empty containers and it doesn’t hurt to have some tongs either instead of customers having to use their...
Read moreIt's an OK club style restaurant. I think food reviews are very subjective .. what I like others may not like and vice versa. I found the food on a couple of occasions to be OK but nothing to get too excited about. The chicken and leek dumplings were really nice but the soy dipping sauce was so salty we couldn't eat it...and I like my salt. Salt and pepper prawns are nice, but compared to other local eatery, fewer prawns for the same price. Rainbow beef was nice enough. Other dishes were OK as well. Haven't tried the Aussie meal menu yet, but I will and will add an edit here at...
Read moreIf your going to put pictures with your post about this "grand buffet" one would assume that's what is going to be served. I did ask one of the staff members and was told that what was served was similar but I failed to find anything similar to the roast meals, pies or sausage rolls which is what my kids were most excited about. The pictures are great but not what was served tonight. There was definitely not 40-50 meals to choose from and had I seen what was actually being served I wouldn't have wasted my money or time going there.
This was very...
