One of my new Japanese Favorite in Perth!

When I first arrived, I was confused but intrigued on how simple the restaurant was. They don’t have many pictures put inside their menu so we might need to ask more, and the staffs were just great and very helpful. I sat when not many other customers arrived yet, which I feel food services were not that long. (Just my Desserts got delayed a bit when the restaurant was busy)

Food is exemplary! 9.5/10 on my perspective, which I think because of their recipe simplicity and quality ingredients. My favorites are sashimi and somen noodle due to their simplicity.

I enjoyed the other appetizers and sides too such as Gyoza, Eggplant, and Octopus. Each dishes they prepared are made with such strong yet simple taste, especially when the ending was a very amazing desserts.

Caramel Pudding was not too sweet and Ogura Ice Cream was just Perfect!, it has a very distinguished Milk taste and good small red bean bits.

I recommend everyone to try it out. Its a good Dinner which its OK in my perspective to pay a bit more...

I've passed this restaurant many times and it looked popular so we decided to try dinner there. We both opted for the Bento: assorted sashimi, karaage chicken, potato salad, beef croquette, agedashi eggplant, miso soup, and rice. We thought this would be a good indication of the standard of food served. Everything passed muster. The sashimi was fresh, the chicken was well cooked and seasoned, the eggplant was delicious, as were the salad and croquette. And it was well presented too The desserts were a pleasant surprise; a tasty parfait that came with bursting bubbles (found in bubble tea) and a cheesecake with an unusual ice-cream (matcha and sesame?). We have not had this before and it was a pleasant treat. Kiri was crowded for a Tuesday and it may have had something to do with it being BYO night ($8 a bottle corkage). Service is friendly and efficient and credit cards are taken. You should be able to find free street parking at the front or in the surrounding...

I've been to Kiri few times, every visit is fantastic. The food and the service are great, overall very enjoyable. However, a little bit disappointed on last Saturday's dinner. I ordered a Miso Parfait for my dessert. The waitress came out with the Milk Tea Parfait, said it has changed from last night, is the same thing just different flavour. This is very impolite and unprofessional, if the customer orders an item which is not available. As a courtesy, you have to tell the customer, so let the customer make the decision whether to try out this new flavour or to pick another choice. I didn't want to spoil the atmosphere in front of other guests, so one little mistake can make a huge impact on the overall dining experience. Although we were not impress on this sole experience, but will still come back as it has been great at all other times. Hopefully this will not...

Excellent and attentive services with friendly staff. Atmosphere was lovely except lighting was a bit too dark. Food were beautifully presented and delicious. Dengaku eggplant with lotus chips was absolutely amazing, the miso sauce was delicious but way too salty. Tempura was good, had the right crispness and batter. Miso cod was ok but disappointed that they’ve used small pieces of cod instead of one big piece (or is it way overcooked) that they crumble as soon as you try to pick some up with chopsticks. Sashimi was refreshing. Overall, the menu prices are quite expensive compared to other Japanese restaurants around Perth. I wouldn’t consider it fine dining but definitely above average.

I went to KiRi last night and had an amazing time - already booking in dinner again to bring some other friends. I had the Pork Fillet Katsu, an Oyster, and a pot of Japanese tea. The food was exquisite - some of the best Japanese food I've had in Perth. Definitely the best Oyster I have had for $6 - with salmon caviar and pickled ginger jelly. The pot of tea we got (with free refills) was also so perfect for the meal. The service was great - very attentive, not overbearing. The ambiance was amazing as well, the lighting and decor was very nice. Overall - a fantastic experience!
