Inadequate parking provided so it was very expensive when you add the price of the parking fine. Regarding your response. Your cafe has about 14 parking spaces, given you share the available parking with two other buildings. Your cafe has seating for around 70 people. It’s clear to see that you were never going to have adequate parking for your staff and patrons so the issue with parking in the area is very much the result of your inadequate planning. Approval for a cafe seating only 20 people was previously denied for this location due to the lack of parking. I have no idea how your cafe was approved.

Counting the chairs that you provide for your patrons, there are 68, NOT 48 as you falsely claim. A little honesty and respect please. This, on top of the 20 seats already available at Little Abbey is pushing close to 90 people! I'm aware that the premises is zoned local centre which is specifically for the locals in walkable distance and has a desired use of "SMALL" restaurant/cafe. No logical person would believe that 90 seats in one small space with no adjacent street parking would not lead to parking issues, and hence fail to meet the States planning policies objectives.

I was initially excited when I first learned of your 'vision' to provide this amenity to the locals in walking/riding distance, but sadly, I suspect your 'greed' led you to scaling up your business to the point that it is not appropriate for a "local centre"

I'm also in regular contact with the local authorities and I can tell you that their current solution is to visit the street up to 4 times a day issuing parking tickets. Are you showing your customers due respect by alerting them to this, or are you happily profiting from the risk they take and the inconvenience that you cause to your neighbors? I believe you are requesting short term parking be made available on the street, which only further reinforces the fact that a business as large as yours is not suitable for a local centre. It also shows a massive lack of respect towards your neighbors for the inconvenience that you have caused them.

Do not be so rude as to ask me to remove my review. Your choice to take your business to the scale you have, is 100% the cause of the parking issue created and my review is well earned by Kith.

Kith Eatery offers a lovely variety of hearty yet aesthetic dishes that leaves an impression!😚 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗮 was a standout🤪 Hot honey glaze gave the chicken the perfect amount of kick & can you see how juicy it is (pic 3)!?!? It’s the ideal combi of sweet, savoury, & spicy 🌶️, especially when paired with fresh crisp greens & fluffy but crunchy exterior focaccia🤤🤤🤤 Pleasantly delighted by the herby flavour profile from the 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗮, which was a lighter option💚 Sautéed Italian greens, pangrattato, provolone, stracciatella, & pesto together with a nice crunch from the same toasted focaccia😋

Both sandwiches were all perfectly balanced in terms of taste & texture👅 Flaky 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 was not too sweet, the poached pear 🍐 was soft with gentle hints of warm spices such as cinnamon, sitting atop a smooth custard. Would be excellent if the pastry was more crispy & buttery😜 Both beverages were visually super stunning!!!!! Gorgeous vibrant purple & pink hues,🥹 𝗨𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 is realllyy fragrant👃🏻 & subtly sweet, its earthy matcha aroma beautifully complements the creamy, silky & rich notes of the ube💜 While the 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 was creamy, subtly tart but sweet enough for my liking🩷 Refreshinggg! I’m always on the lookout 👀 for Perth’s best 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰😁 Kith Eatery version has a smooth coconut 🥥 cream poured over a lightly sweetened cold brew base, topped with lime 🍋‍🟩 zest, so gooddie! The touch of lime here, just elevates the whole drink! In this cold weather 🥶, the 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 is such a cosy well-balanced cuppa🍵

I strongly recommend going early as they don’t take reservations, so there’s always a wait to be seated☺️

Well worth the wait and hype! This tiny cafe packs a punch. We visited during lunch time and the wait time to be seated was roughly 30 minutes from arrival to seating. Once we were seated we were treated to friendly staff serving us quickly. We were surprised and delighted when our food came out only a few minutes later. The food was on another level! For drinks we tried the matcha specials: tropical mango passionfruit matcha, and the strawberry matcha. The tropical matcha was a perfect blend of sweetness to the very strong matcha. The strawberry matcha was made with a strawberry froth that was rich and fluffy but not overpowering to the matcha. Looks alone and the beautifully dark green matcha colour, these may be some of the best matcha in Perth right now! The food was above average. We ordered curly fries to which very little were genuinely curly however they were so flavourful even without sauces. The chilli scrambled egg had this combination of crunch and spice and oils. The only thing I believe the food needs improvement on is the portion size, considering I paid $23 for a single slice of bread and a small(ish) dollop of scrambled eggs, I was slightly disappointed in that matter. Furthermore, Kith’s decor and atmosphere was both lively and cozy. The outside reminded me of Bondi’s cafes with this combination of retro meets beach. The inside was chic, full with colourful 1960s inspired decor. It made us feel so welcoming entering such a pretty cafe. Lastly, the service was so good. Not just fast, but friendly staff with everyone we met. The lady at the front was so lovely and well-organised. I can only imagine the stress with being a new cafe that is suddenly so popular. Overall, we were very happy with Kith and we are so excited to return again...
