I was half way through my burger when I found a hair in it. I had to pull it back out of my mouth. Needless to say I lost my appetite. I took the burger in and was refunded my money. My daughter had already returned one burger as it had no sauce on it only to then find a hair in hers as well. She threw the hair on the ground. I took the burger inside and the staff got the manager. He asked me what the problem was. I explained. He then told me that he had made the two burgers (mine and this one with the hair) and they were fine. I reiterated that if he would like to come out and see the hair on the ground he was more than welcome. He offered to remake the burger. I said no my daughter didn't want another one and would just have her chips. No offer of another refund. Not impressed to be made to feel like I was lying or in the wrong for finding somebody else's hair in food I paid good money for and on more than one occasion. Obviously staff here do not adhere to strict PPE protocols when preparing food for the public. We went to another Macca's to get the girls an ice cream just in case they were...
Read moreIt's a Macca's. It looks like a Macca's. It sounds like a Macca's. That said. Staff are well trained and courteous. Accuracy of order placed and products actually received is consistently high. The major drawback with all the Shepparton area Maaca'is the ownership by a single family and the fact that they see the obvious lack of competition as permission to process gouge wherever possible on the products board. A cappuccino in Shepparton is 75 cents dearer that the same drink purchased on Wallace for example. This price "variation" is, according to Macca's HQ within permitted limits of "franchisee autonomy" to set prices as they see fit. The problem is the prices are only ever set above the recommended retail, they see never set below recommended retail prices. Anyway, when you have a local Monopoly, why not milk it for all it's worth? In short, the owners are not worth supporting, but the staff and products are good quality. Recommended, but with serious...
Read moreOne of the dirtiest McDonald's I've seen in a long time. The rubbish bins were overflowing, there was food all over the floor and I had to walk around the whole store to find a clean table which I couldn't. They all had food remnants on them. I had to clean tables myself just so me and the kids had somewhere clean to sit and when I went to put my baby in the high chair it was gross. I wiped it all over and the qioes cam out brown. It had not been cleaned in a while. The food was cold and not put together properly and they got the order wrong. Won't be...
