McDonalds Singleton NSW Have visited this location for about 20 years 4-6 times a year. It’s half way travelling to family. We decided long ago that it is the worst McDonalds we’d ever been to. Because it was originally the only place open we just decided to use it as comic relief. Just had the worst interaction with managers. A toasted sandwich was sliced for 2cm on one side only. No probs. They gave me a disposable knife to finish the slicing. The accompanying Cafe Latte was overfilled with no milk froth. When shown to the managers they said it was normal. Have never experienced that in any other McDonalds. Manager confirmed that was their normal latte. Then offered to make another one. Couldn’t see the point if that was normal because they would serve me the same. I returned to my seat. The customer at the next table then blew up because the order was messed up. Customer said they watched my interaction & was shocked to see the staff chuckling behind my back. They have a serious problem. The newer younger front of house staff are usually eager to do a good job. Additionally on entering the cafe area there were no tables available. Read moreIt seems every McDonald's I go to is out of paper for the Self serve kiosk so not only do you need to remember your order number off the top of your head, you also don't get a receipt. As Soon as I saw an employee come out from the counter I asked him if I could get a receipt because the machine is out of paper. He asked what my order number was and I gave him it & he assured me I'd get one when my order was ready.
I spent about 3-5 minuets there waiting for my order & then it came and I asked if it had a receipt in there, nope the girl who delivered my order threw it away :/ Why on earth would you throw it away, even after the customer had asked for one?
So that's another 3 minuets waiting for them to print it out, the first guy had to go behind the kiosk I ordered from to get it's number so I can get my receipt. I ended up getting it but wasn't happy with the overall experience.
Why I wanted a receipt? because I wanted to make sure I wasn't over charged and so I could prove they got my order incorrect in case a mistake was made. It's disappointing that a receipt has caused me to give this place 1 star. Will probably go to KFC Singleton next time I'm up here.

I can safely say that after careful consideration of my more recent experiences, nothing has changed. So I will make no change to the original review text below. At least they're consistent. 😒
Consistently poor quality french fries🍟 over many years like they always cook too many in one go and then keep serving them well past their best like there's no quality control at all, which is disappointing. On average you'd expect that at least half the time you'd get good quality fries but inexplicably it seems like it's pretty rare indeed, it seems to happen around 80% of the time. Other food quality is very hit and miss, considering it's prepared to order, often looks rushed / sloppily constructed and nothing like the advertised images of the items. It's clear they're not very interested in serving food that would encourage repeat business. Long waits for service, especially when ordering or paying at the counter, drive thru customers are always prioritised. Cleanliness inside the restaurant seems to be a low priority.
