10/10 for this phenomenal restaurant & dinning experience, an abundance of local fresh seafood from Kangaroo Island, S.A. I cannot recommend this remarkable place enough. As a family we would love to take this opportunity to thank Carrie, the Chef/Owner, with her beautiful mum Kim, for making our private family celebration exceptional. My request, I must admit, I had high expectations, for the freshest of fresh, we definitely got much more than we requested. Carrie delivered perfection on each & every plate, from the freshly shucked Oysters, to the Kingfish, Prawns, Mussels, Calamari, Poached Salmon, Soft Shell Crab's & so much more, too many to list. Plus an open bar, commencing with Champagne, followed by the local Gin, wine's & so on. Carrie extended her talent, with the best Pavlova, EVER, fresh cream & fresh fruit, for the birthday cake, served with the best coffee we had on the Island. Carrie & Kim, we cannot thank you enough for going above & beyond for our beautiful mum's 80th, she was so overwhelmed with everything on her very special day. I went to this restaurant with my friends. My evaluation of this restaurant is that I must go to this restaurant in my life. If I don't go, I will regret it for the rest of my life. The restaurant was opened by an old couple. They were very kind and patient with customers, which made us look forward to our dishes. As expected, the dishes were very delicious and the salmon tasted very fresh. The chef covered up the fishy smell of the fish without losing the fish flavour (I like the fishy smell of fish Very sensitive, but I didn't eat fishy), then baked potatoes, which is the most delicious baked potatoes I have eaten in the long time since I came to Australia, and then garlic-flavoured bread, which is just right in crispness and has a strong garlic flavour. Finally, I like the steak. The quality of the beef is very good and the juice is very full. All of us like this meal....

Location and setting was pleasant although it was a bit too dark to read the menus. The food took about an hour to arrive and unfortunately the meals were mostly disappointing. My duck sausages were supposed to arrive on a bed of mash potato but instead they were roasted potatoes. The salad was actually in the gravy with the sausages and potatoes. My partner's gnocchi tasted like they were from a packet. The steaks were tough and gristly. The oysters were fresh and tasty. I hope they improve the food as it's a nice place and the staff were generally friendly and there aren't many places to have dinner in...
