I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brinx Deli & Cafe, and I must say, it was a delightful experience.
Upon entering, I immediately appreciated the warm and accommodating atmosphere. What stood out to me was the waitress' thoughtful consideration of my height (being 6ft9), as she kindly asked my seating preference – booth or table. This small gesture made a big difference, as I didn't have to struggle to find a comfortable spot.
The cafe's ambiance and layout were truly charming. The combination of dark greens and touches of brushed gold created a chic and rustic vibe that perfectly resonated with the country town charm of Stanthorpe. It struck a beautiful balance between the town's character and contemporary flair.
Now, let's talk about the food – it was simply great! I opted for the brekkie burger, and I must say, it offered fantastic value for money. The flavors were on point, and the portion left me fully satisfied.
However, I do have one minor concern – the cost of the extras. Paying $6 for a single Hashbrown felt a bit steep for my liking. Perhaps, if it were a unique Hashbrown Cake or a specialty item, I could see the justification for the price. But as it stands, I found it challenging to justify spending $6 on one Hashbrown when I could get a bag from the local store for a similar price.
But hey, don't let that hold you back from visiting this charming and edgy establishment in quaint little Stanthorpe. Brinx Deli & Cafe offers a unique experience that's worth checking out.
Overall, I had a wonderful time at Brinx Deli & Cafe, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and delicious spot to dine in...
Read moreLovely small cafe, we were visitors to Stanthorpe and had an excellent experience. Prompt and courteous service, we were seen to quickly and the waitress even let us know she was expecting a couple of groups to arrive shortly suggesting we order sooner rather than later to ensure we didn’t have to wait. Coffee was great- nice and strong even in a mug size! I haven’t enjoyed a cafe coffee that much in a very long time! I had the corn fritters (and added a poached egg) and my partner had the Italian breakfast. The meals were on the smaller side however the quality and taste of the produce was incredible and we both felt completely satisfied and full after eating. We spent the whole meal commenting to each other about how delicious the relishes were and how much the tomatoes tasted like rich real tomatoes! My partner thought his pancetta was the best he’s ever had. We purchased a jar of the relish that came with the corn fritters from the attached deli and are looking forward to making our own creations with it! The deli is a dollar or two more expensive on a few local items than some other places we visited, however there were also other items available that we did not see anywhere else, and the deli is in a very convenient location on Stanthorpe’s main drag. When we come back to Stanthorpe we will...
Read moreI recently dined at Brinx Deli & Cafe and had an incredible experience as a coeliac customer. From the moment I called to confirm they could accommodate a gluten-free meal, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my dietary needs were met. Kristy, the owner, took the time to chat with me on the phone, reassured me about their preparation process, and provided exceptional service throughout my visit. Knowing that Kristy had been gluten free herself gave me even more confidence, as they were well-versed in food preparation and handling.
A majority of their menu could be made gluten free, so lots of variety. What really impressed me was how they went the extra mile – knowing I had a reservation, they let us dine-in the restaurant for the last meal sitting until close. That level of care is rare!
I truly appreciated their attention to detail and can’t recommend Brinx Deli & Cafe highly enough for anyone seeking a coeliac-friendly dining experience. I’ll definitely...
