Berkelouw Cafe — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Customer Care and food quality poor.... We dined at Berkelow Cafe early Saturday morning 4 June. Cafe was empty and ordered a simple breakfast consisting of scrambled egg with toast and Gluten free poached eggs with toast. Tea and an espresso. Casual attitude by server at the counter. My wifes scrambled eggs well done with the toast on side as requested came out runny with her order on gluten free toast. Mine came out with normal bread, spotted it immediately could have been disastrous being a Coeliac. Ask to sort, then the order came out again stone cold....Sent back again. After the 3rd time it was correct. Being few choices in Eumundi for breakfast this standard is really poor and feel that there is great room for improvement. Appalling, 4 of us stopped to eat, very busy limited tables found one small for all of us to sit at numerous staff members interacted with us and after half hour at least, sitting and waiting owner says we can't sit there because we moved the table so we could all sit around it. There were no other tables toove to but was insistent we could not stay there. Very rude, very cold and had the delivery of his concern been in auch more pleasant understanding it may not have ended as it did. No internet for EFT every transaction staff had to run out to the road for service causing extreme waiting to order. Can't comment on food, didn't...

Nice little Eatery. Nice Sidewalk seating. Stopped here to recharge after visiting Eumundi markets. Happy to have found vegan option on menu. Tasty polenta slice and veges. Two others in my group shared a ham cheese and tomato toastie which they shared which was filling. Great coffee. A selection of sweets inside cafe, which we didnt try.
