Two months ago, my partner and I chose this venue for our micro wedding, and it was the best decision we could have made. The venue is absolutely dreamy, with a vintage charm that adds great vibes to the photos. The large green area at the back offers a beautiful contrast, providing the best of both worlds for our pictures. The staff here are exceptional—helpful, friendly, and genuinely nice. A special mention goes to Kim, who guided us through the entire process. She even helped my sister with the room decorations and ensured we had no worries on our big day. Kim allowed us complete freedom in choosing our wedding lunch menu without any restrictions, and the prices were very reasonable considering the amazing quality of the food. She truly is a legend, and the owners are fortunate to have such a dedicated team member. The food here is fantastic, and I highly recommend trying it maybe on a special date. This venue is perfect for any future event you might have. For our special day, we booked the entire fire room for ourselves and held both the ceremony and lunch there, with a beautifully decorated round table for our meal later in the day. Though the rest of the restaurant was booked it didn’t feel any less special or private. Thanks you for making our day extra special

We have been to Harry's several times, in fact, we got married there! It is a charming and character-filled place with a long history in a beautiful location. But, it is the food, prepared by Stuart Bell that really sets it apart from other restaurants on the Sunny Coast. Fresh, flavourful, seasonal, local and elegantly presented at reasonable prices. We went recently for a Christmas celebration and three of us had the crispy skin Barramundi, that was all that and the flesh was translucent and succulent accompanied by their signature crispy potatoes. Delicious ! My wife had the duet of pork loin and crispy pork belly that she loved, but she had one suggestion to have it on turnip mash rather than pumpkin. (Everyone is an expert! (:) The desserts were excellent also - banana fritters, chocolate cremeux and the Christmas pudding special. Tantalisingly presented, rich and delicious. We also had wine and mocktails. The cost was about $335 for four people, but well worth it considering the quality of the produce and the cooking. The service from our host Peter was warm and friendly. We will be back again soon!

We went and had the degustation. Some of the food served was on point. The barramundi and beef are superb. The quail has too much salt. The prawns are overcooked. The faux pas was the wine that came long after the food appeared, and the pauses were too long between serves. Calvin was very attentive....it would have been nice to have one look after us but there were five over the course of the night. The staff are not cohesive in their work. Payment was an issue. We were paying with a gift certificate. The internet coverage is inferior. The woman serving was noticeably annoyed, did not interact with us, and just palmed the issue off to a young staff member who sighed and said oh, it's made up of 4 payments. It was a gift from our children for our anniversary. When l read the price on the receipt, the level of service did not equate with the price. I would expect impeccable service. The music is delightful, but the mood does not match; it is flat. There are many other places to eat on the coast where the food presentation and service is far superior at half the price.

Dissapointed with our booking from last night. We booked on line for the art room with a party of 6 as we didnt wish to be crammed in on the verandah. Arrived on time and was told our table was on the verandah as the art room was already reserved. Staff did their best to move tables around in the fire room to accomodate which was great and the attention to service from that point was exceptional, however. During our meal, a party of 4 was brought in to sit at the art room table and immediately stated that they didnt want that table and had chose the verandah on booking. In turn staff accomodated and sat the party of 4 on the verandah. So we then sat and looked at an empty art room for the rest of the night. Staff would have known that it was a complete blunder in regards to the reservations but never broached the issue with us to apologize or acknowledge. When spending the amount of money to eat at harrys i would expect a better level of service in regards to reservations. If you can select a reservation area during booking it should be final and accomodated. As our party of 6 selected the art room and as the party of 4 selected the verandah. However they got what they wanted in the end, tho we just sat and looked at the empty art room in all its ambience unused for the evening. Hence the 1 star for atmosphere. Service shouldve been a 5 star but with how our booking was handled i had to mark it down. Food...

This restaurant is inside an historic homestead nestled in Buderim Forest. Tables flow inside and outside on verandahs facing a large open field. Sometimes there are people and dogs playing, or picnicking. In the other direction, lush rainforest gardens surround the building and Buderim falls is only a short walk away.

Harry's on Buderim has a reputation for fine dining. The food is always amazing, changing with the seasons. The one thing that never seems to move off the menu is the Chocolate Cremeux.

I tried a terrine made with Chicken and pistachios. It was rich like pate and was served with two different breads. The thinly sliced toasted bread was great with the terrine. Delicious.

For main I had the roast lamb. It was cooked with roast capsicum which was beautiful and rich. We shared a lovely white bubbly and a bottle of red over several hours.

Finally, I couldn't resist trying their dessert special. It was an Apricot crumble with homemade macadamia ice cream. Home made, folks!

Harry's is the kind of place that you go when you have a reason to celebrate with special people. It's fancy and delicious and worth saving up your...
