Ma Boulange Cafe — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

During a recent breakfast outing with my partner, children, and grandparents at a familiar café, we encountered an upsetting situation. Our 1.5-year-old, understandably tired, required our attention and supervision to keep her entertained. To our surprise, the owner abruptly insisted that we remove her from the cafe area. This, coupled with the staff’s unprofessional and disrespectful demeanor, left us shocked and disappointed.

Having patronized this café previously, this experience has deterred us from returning. Despite spending a considerable amount as a family, the rude treatment marred the occasion, diminishing any enjoyment of the meal. When I calmly raised concerns about the service, I was asked to leave without any offer of a refund.

As once-loyal customers, we anticipated better service and respect. Regrettably, this incident has eroded our trust, and we will no longer be supporting this...

My partner, our kids, and grandparents visited this café for breakfast. One of our youngest children, who is just 1.5 years old, was understandably tired, so we had to keep her entertained while ensuring she was under full supervision. However, we were rudely told by the owner to remove her from the café area. The owner’s behavior, along with the staff’s unprofessional and disrespectful attitude, was shocking and disappointing.

This is a café we’ve visited in the past, but after this experience, we will not be returning. Despite spending a significant amount of money as a family, the rude treatment left a terrible impression, to the point where I couldn’t enjoy the meal. When I calmly addressed my concerns about their service, I was told to leave the premises, and no refund was offered.

As loyal customers, we expected better service and respect, but unfortunately, this café has lost our trust...

Order a birthday cake for my daughter’s 18th on collection the cake was not what was asked for supposed to be double layered with piping on the base and decorative. Pictures were shown when ordering as we had previously bought a cake that my daughter loved from Ma Boulange we had hopes they could replicate but were given a single layer with little decorative on top and no piping at the base. Older lady extremely rude to my daughter when originally ordering the cake and not a very nice person when collecting the cake. We will NOT be going back nor will we recommend. Ma Boulange get YOUR act together if you can not supply what a customer has asked for then don’t charge a ridiculous amount of money for a complete disappointment that I now have to fix. You are lucky to even get a one star...
