Chain franchises like this profit from having across the board standards. So it easy to get good customer service, prompt delivery of food in a neat and clean environment and consider it "average".
My visit was truly five star.
The service was superb. I was acknowledged as soon as I entered. I said I needed to consider the menu. The young woman nodded, and attended to other duties. The instant that I was ready to order she made eye contact with me and prepared to take my order without a word spoken. The menu choices were longer than I expected, but she was patient. I chose to eat in, and had my food delivered to me within 3 minutes by the woman that had taken the order. The food was tastier than I remembered Oporto and the serving size was generous.
I sat at a table close to the service area, and observed a large family approach the counter. English was limited among all members of the party. The same woman that served me showed immense patience and equanimity as she engaged this party. I marvelled at her cross-cultural skills. Another staff member joined and tried to help without success. Then a tall, big-set guy came from the kitchen area. I thought that I was going to be disappointed and expected a level of intolerance. I was wrong. The big guy suggested a respectful plan that took the family away from the counter and kept service operating smoothly.

We called the next day and the manager Jason said bank statement is usually pending and bank will only charge you once dont worry. After about 5 days we saw a double charge and travelled 25 minutes and decided to just eat the double charged, Jason the manager said we cant give you refund, saying we are not just a bogus company to give refund immediately, there has to be an investigation (he was there when we dine in their restaurant). They sent us home all 4 of us, saying it is the banks fault adding he worked in oporto for 4 years and has never experienced double charged. He have even let us open our bank account because he is not convinced we were charged twice enlarging our bank statement. And emphasising if you are really charged twice by our casher, you would have stayed few more minutes because that is how we bill people. Double charge is not possible so we need investigation, ask for our email and mobile number. Total demeaning a customer in front of wife and two kids. Read moreThey should not be open yet , place looks amazing but staff have no idea of what’s on the menu , the staff can’t hear u through the drive through speaker box , we asked if they had a box with a burger and chicken in it like on the website, the boy replied “possible” then went silent 60 seconds later another voice comes on hi welcome to opportos how can we help u , we were asked what drinks we wanted , 4 drinks in total we said coke, boy then asks could u say the name of the drink U want but as many times as u want it ...so coke coke coke coke, it is then sigh what a mess ..... I know they just opened but seriously need a store owner or manager to come to this store from within the franchise until it’s gets going , even at the drive through window the look of terror on the workers faces ..... also pet peeve here is turning into the drive through .... get rid of that curb ... hardest drive through in history to navigate . Food was to the usual standard but we left so frustrated ... they get a one star...
