Finally trying the “fusion cuisine”🤤🌎
Have you ever had Peruvian🇵🇪 food before?👀 For those who didn’t know, Peruvian food is known for its culturally diverse influences, including Spanish, African, Chinese and Japanese, earning them the title of a “fusion cuisine”🇪🇸🇿🇦🇨🇳🇯🇵
The team at @Ayahuasca has expressed the rich cultural heritage of Peruvian food, with a contemporary twist that truly awakened our senses 😉
What we ordered:
🐟Ceviche Ayahuasca: A fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine, the fresh sashimi was paired with a range of Peruvian toppings and their special sauce which was creamy🤤, yet spicy, sweet and sour at the same time. An appetizer masterclass!😍 🦐🐙Arroz Con Mariscos: Aka Seafood rice, this dish displayed a strong linkeage to Spanish heritage. Another great dish was the El Che Peruano which was a grilled octopus that was well marinated and cooked, just wished there was an option to have it with the fried rice (another dish we ordered that was super flavourful)...
