I love every seafood menu of this restaurant - everything is fresh and is well worth every dollar. My favourite would be the steamed mud crab and the steamed fish with ginger and shallots. I would also recommend the prawns smothered with egg yolk pieces (It's just so divine!). Chicken dishes, such as the Shun Tong Chicken, are far from bad.
Entree-wise, I like the prawn toast, although if you are trying to be relatively healthy, perhaps choose the steamed prawn dumpling. Desserts are limited to fried ice cream, which comes with three different toppings (chocolate, caramel, and strawberry), and if you are lucky you can have it drizzled with bourbon (I think) on top and will be presented to you with pretty coloured flames.
Overall, excellent family-owned restaurant. Owner is very friendly, so if you get stuck and don't know what to order, you can easily approach him and ask for...
Read moreFood was so so but that could be because the ambience of the place was awful due to a large group of people speaking...(shouting rather) in Mandarin. No fabrics in the place to absorb the noise. We couldn't hear each other speaking and we were just sitting next to each other!! We enjoyed the Pigeon which was quite yummy, but the XO Pippies were cold when we got to them (they didn't care to time it), the sauce wasn't chilli hot and the vermicelli didn't soften up nicely. The Flounder was quite fishy so I am unsure if it was due to the freshness or that Flounder is fishier than Coral Trout and Barramundi as I am used to. Nice friendly Cantonese speaking staff that serve house soup and a few pieces of...
Read moreThe vibe is very old style hk restaurant. Love the pipis with fried rice noodle base. The pipis were so fresh and big, the rice noodle is crispy and taste perfectly with the black bean sauce.
The salty egg soft shell crab was delicious but I think it’s was a little bit too salty when you are eating your third pieces. It was better to be served with rice.
Crispy duck with taro was quite special. I have never taste a combination like that. But it easily make you feel full so better to share Roth a big group.
The fried sticky rice was our favourite. Well seasoned and not too salty. The sticky rice was cooked perfectly and did not...
