Bistro Sydney — Restaurant in Sydney

This was our first time to Bistro by Courtyard and we loved it!

For drinks, our group ordered Espresso Martinis although the martini was a little too milky for some.

For entrees, we shared the Pork Belly, Fried Calamari and the Rosemary and Thyme Chips. All 3 x dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. It was off to a very positive start!

For mains, our group ordered the Striploin, Barramundi & Butter Chicken. When the food came to the table, we were wowed by the presentation! All dishes were beautifully plated and generous, especially the Butter Chicken! This was a real showstopper! The food tasted delicious and satisfying, with a bit of leftovers.

For dessert, we ordered the Panna Cotta, Sticky Date Pudding & Chocolate Fondant. Again, everything was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. It was such a nice way to finish a group get together!

The service was attentive with waitstaff who brought what we asked for in a timely manner and nothing was forgotten. We also had a kind waiter as well but forgot the name.

The restaurant was mostly full by the time we arrived which was a great sign!

This restaurant exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased we dined here.

The Bistro Sydney is located at the lower level of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. They have a $17.50 Lunch Menu where you can buy such meals as a schnitzel or burger, etc, with a non- alcoholic drink. The surroundings was pleasant and the service very good. I just got a schnitzel and chips and an orange juice for lunch. You can drive in and park (on the first left turn off, after entering via Talavera Road). A ticket will be issued at the boom gates which can be validated for free parking. Otherwise the parking would have been $22. Otherwise you can catch a Metro train to Macquarie Station and from there it's a 7 minute walk. They do accept Amex cards but with a 1.95%...
