We visited Burger Point for lunch on a quiet Monday and had a great experience. With fewer customers around, service was incredibly quick, efficient, and friendly, making for a smooth and enjoyable visit. The restaurant itself was very clean, though it lacked a bit of atmosphere or energy.
I tried a few different items on the menu, including a burger, the spaghetti with fried chicken, and the ube milkshake. Overall, everything was quite good, but the real standouts were the burger and the milkshake.
The burger was absolutely amazing. I appreciated that they asked how I wanted my patty cooked—I went with medium, and it was perfect. Juicy, well-seasoned, and incredibly flavorful, it reminded me of a Big Mac but taken to a whole new level. Every bite was rich and satisfying, making it easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while.
The spaghetti, on the other hand, was decent but not quite to my taste. It leaned on the sweeter side and lacked some depth of flavor, though it did pair well with the fried chicken. The chicken itself was fantastic—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor, making it a great choice on its own.
The true highlight of the meal, however, was the ube milkshake. Thick, creamy, and bursting with rich ube flavor, it struck the perfect balance of sweetness and indulgence. Whether as a drink or a dessert, it was easily the best part of the meal.
Overall, Burger Point delivers high-quality burgers and fantastic milkshakes. While the ambiance could use a bit more energy, the food and service make it a worthwhile stop for anyone craving a great burger in...
Read moreClosest Thing to Jollibee in Sydney!
I’ve been to a few other Burger Point locations before, but this one really stood out — especially if you’re a Jollibee fan like me. From the moment I walked in, the smell of the fried chicken brought me straight back to the Philippines. It had that unmistakable aroma — crispy, savoury, just a little sweet — and the taste delivered too. Hands down, the most authentic-tasting Jollibee-style chicken I’ve had in Sydney.
My wife tried the Filipino-style spaghetti and absolutely loved it. Sweet, cheesy, comforting — just like how it’s meant to be. The fact that we could enjoy both dishes in a place that wasn’t loud or packed was a big plus. The vibe was pretty chill, and despite it being fairly quiet, the service was quick and efficient. No long waits, no mix-ups, just good food served fresh.
The only thing that held me back from giving it a full five stars was the price. While we enjoyed the meal, it was a bit on the higher side compared to other casual dining spots. Still, for the flavour and that nostalgic hit, it was worth it as an occasional treat.
If you’re craving that familiar Jollibee-style fried chicken or want to introduce someone to Filipino comfort food without flying overseas, this Burger Point location is your best bet. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu — and maybe next time bring a few more friends to share...
Read more!!WARNING FOOD POISONING!! Me and 3 of my friends ate here last night for dinner. One is vegan who ordered mushroom burger. 3 of us ordered the chicken spaghetti. All of us 3 started having diarrhoea middle of the night from suspected food poisoning, we all had the chicken spaghetti. We weren’t together before we had dinner. They started telling me it could be from the previous food we had. There’s no investigation done at all before the lady on the phone made this comment! We were not together before we had dinner! This is the only food we ate similarly that day! We are all health care workers from different hospitals. I’m so sick of people not knowing accountability. We will report to the Department of Health. Tip 1. Cook your food properly 2. Investigate before you dismiss a serious incident like this. 🤯 I wanted to wait for the result of the report to DOH before posting this review but If this shop is not doing anything to protect their customers from food poisoning by at least investigating how this happened, then i felt obliged to post this review publicly to warn...
