Burleys Castlecove — Restaurant in Sydney

Food is always cooked well. I think they cook with ghee which we prefer. Chips are always crunchy. Good variety food options. We especially love the portugese chicken burger, tunacado, gyros and all their breakfast options. Also, they’re very flexible when we ask for a little tweak here and there - obviously realistic requests only 🙂. So far we haven’t encountered a “no sorry we dont do that” or “sorry not on the menu”.

Service is far beyond the previous cafe in this exact location. Maria, Thomas and Bill are all very friendly, warm and accommodating. It gives that community feeling. And because they are like this with their customers, the rest of their staff do the same. We moved houses but we still go back here to eat at least...

Very disappointing and expensive meal here for brunch yesterday. Coffee was very earthy and only luke warm when it arrived. I had the baked eggs with toast which came swimming in an inch of oil and not much apart from the egg and what was apparently chorizo. My husband ordered the pancake stack which was just 2 small pancakes for $22. A side of bacon was ordered which was 1 slice of bacon for $4. My daughter had toast with Vegemite but the butter was just on top of one slice and had melted making the toast soggy. I wish i could give separate rating to coffee and food. The food was amazing and i really liked it. Taste perfectly delicious. But the coffee, it wasn’t strong enough. If i want to be more professional i would say it was under and didn’t taste good at all. I tried my friends cap and it was sweet and it is because of that reason.
