As someone who's born in Aus as a Chinese person, I have a very mixed palate and often high standards. Ordered their pies and almond croissant via uber eats yesterday on a whim as my colleague and I were hungry at work.

I trusted the Google reviews at 4.6 and they DID NOT disappoint. Pies were still freshly warm and the waft of the almond croissant coming out of the paper bag was heavenly. I know of their sister cafe on Naremburn but have never tried so I was happy to give this one closer to work a go. My colleague who also part times at a cafe commented: the almond croissant is even better than at my other work which is a famous cafe. I've driven past Cornucopia Bakery once or twice and have never thought much of it as just a small cafe by a busy road except my thoughts on hygiene. I think I will start travelling out of my way to see you. The only issue I had was I ordered around 11:20/30 and it arrived just before 12pm which was disappointing as it said 20 mins delivery so it ended up being...

Am only rating this on "the Chunky meat pie". Staff was nice and friendly. Stopped in for a quick bit and bought the chunky meat pie. It was $10 which is quite steep. However this was a "chunky" pie. If there was ever a case for a pie being too chunky, then this was it. It was filled to the brim with huge beef chunks. It must have had a whole steak in there. It felt worth the $10 on beef alone. Pastry was nice, just found it a bit difficult to get the pie out of the foil.

Anyway if you like chunky pies then this is place. Probably needed a bit more...

Coffee quality – 4/5 A good quality Sydney coffee – nothing more, nothing less.

Ambiance – 5/5 Really local vibes with lots of parents and kids coming in before school.

Food – 5/5 The display is always stocked with delicious-looking pastries. I always go for the nutella scroll, which is a winner.

Good for remote work? – 4/5 A pretty good cafe to work at – though I only recommend doing so in late Spring, Summer and early Autumn to take advantage of the al fresco tables. It's a bit cold and draughty inside during the winter, as the door...

Cozy vibes and killer pie đŸ„§â˜•ïž Stumbled into this little bakery on a lazy afternoon and honestly, it was just what I needed. Super cozy atmosphere—think warm lighting, comfy seats, and the smell of fresh pastries in the air. The coffee was smooth and strong (exactly how I like it), and the pie? Absolute perfection. Flaky crust, not-too-sweet filling, and served warm. The staff were laid-back and friendly, like you’re just hanging out at a friend’s place. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

We had a fantastic brunch at Cornucopia Bakery Castle Cove! The Shakshuka was flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and the green omelette was fresh and packed with herbs. The cheese tomato sandwich and hot chocolate were my son’s favorites—simple, comforting, and made with great ingredients. The coffee was also excellent—smooth and well-balanced. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommend!
