For the most gorgeous, chic and delicious brunch dishes in Southern Sydney, you need to visit this beautiful corner side café in Sans Souci. I dined here recently on a stunning, sunny wintry June day where the sun was out, the coffees were flowing and the dishes were plentiful. Let's start with the drinks. Order anything from your standard flat white or espresso, or go a bit fancy with a matcha latte. Or feel like something a bit fruity and fresh? There are a range of smoothies and iced drinks to tempt you and cool you down as well. And as for the food, the menu re-invents classic breakfast and brunch dishes adding modern flair and new flavour combinations. We tried the following dishes: Coconut chia pudding - enjoyed the creaminess of this chia pudding. Acai berry bowl - for something healthy, this is the go-to dish. The pancakes - fluffy buttermilk pancakes served with berry compote. The French toast - the crispiest French toast I've ever eaten! The secret was in the panko crumb crunch. Smothered in an addictive caramel sauce and topped with nut praline. This dish is was one of my faves. The Rosie benny - as far as eggs benny's go, this is by far the prettiest I've ever eaten with it's signature house-made pink benedict sauce. The corn fritters - one of the best corn fritters around, the amount of juicy corn kernels inside was generous and gave these fitters a nice denseness that was well balanced with the batter. The pretty smash - who doesn't like smashed avo on toast? The Cypriot salad - the blend of freekah, currents, pomegranate, seeds and beetroot hummus was like a party in your mouth! I can't wait to go back to try the dishes again, this is a neighbourhood gem in San Souci, tucked away in the residential streets, but close enough to the beach. Note: I dined as a guest of the venue. All views expressed above are my own.

Our first time here. I've driven past it many times, and it's always packed. We had brekky at around 8 on a Sunday, and there were plenty of tables, but by the time we left at around 9, it was full up. Easy to park in one of the nearby streets. Our order was an Acai bowl, a brekky burger, and another dish that I forgot the name of. Also 2 small cuppacinnos and a beetroot chai latte. Total came to $74.00. Service was excellent; fast and friendly. Everything tasted great... I helped my wife and daughter finish theirs, after I ate my burger. It has seating inside and out. Not a place we will come to often; it's a bit too expensive, but a beautiful location 5 mins from the beach, and the food tastes great.

The presentation of the dishes at this café is impressive, but unfortunately the quality of the food doesn't match up. Despite the café's small size, their marketing tactics seem to exceed their capacity to deliver. While the food may look beautiful for Instagram, it lacks flavor and is disappointingly bland. My experience with the Benny dish was particularly unpleasant, as the eggs tasted strongly of vinegar. The kale was undercooked and the smoked salmon was overly salty. The pancakes were basic and overpriced, with only half a banana as a topping few strawberries and ice cream. Furthermore, the pancakes themselves were neither fluffy nor soft. Even the pink latte that I ordered was a letdown, as it arrived as a plain, white milk beverage without any visible pink hue. On the positive side, the coffee for takeout was decent.

Dining at Cafe Bella Dee was a great experience. The corner cafe has a welcoming entrance and a very cosy interior with plenty of seating, albeit someone condensed, my preference was the outdoor seating. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. My highlight was the current caramilk twirl pancake special, you can guarantee they will be keeping up with latest trends. Fritters are always a favourite of mine but often overlooked on many cafe menus, but not here, so it's definitely another dish I'd highly recommend!

Biscoff pancakes was delish - 4.5 out of 5, just needs to be generous with the fruits like the ones on their instagram. Rosie benny was meh - asked to make our bacon extra crispy which not only we didn’t get, the poached egg had no run at all it was practically semi boiled. Every table had a bottle of water except ours. Could be the server we got that day not being attentive but just saying. Would come back to try all of their famous pancakes though!

Went to this cafe for brunch with a couple of friends and was seated outside. Unfortunately as it was raining water kept coming through the gaps and onto our tables while we were eating. Limited menu but food came out very presentable. Relatively small serving size for the price but tasty. Ordered their breakfast burger which was nice but nothing that unique. Cute little local cafe but probably wouldn't go back as nothing stood out for me.
