Cafe Trebbiano — Restaurant in Sydney

I Stumbled across this place while in need of a quick pick me up during a stressful morning.

Entrance into the cafe is rewarded with a spacious and well-lit dining area. The all-glass exterior compliments the brilliantly accommodated and relatively comfortable seating.

I ordered a bacon and egg roll and caramel latte around 9 am on a week day. Situated amidst multiple business parks and nearby to a few conveniences and public parking, the cafe had a constant stream of customers looking for their mid morning caffeine hit.

With only two staff on hand, no one was kept waiting for long. I had my order within under 5 minutes.

The bacon was thick cut and while the roll was a tad stale; the portion was well sized and very reasonably priced.

My coffee was flawless; which is high praise for a caramel latte where so many things can go wrong. Unfortunately they had no lactose free milk and showed genuine concern for my dietary needs when I said regular milk would suffice.

The barrister was focused and efficient. The chef was friendly, energetic and smiling.

Staff were not exactly polite.

It was a shame the menu times are so restrictive - the lunch offerings are all very heavy, so the lack of abilty to order breakfast a mere 3 minutes after the breakfast menu finished, completely prevented me from eating anything. Combined, the breakfast and lunch menus are great, so it's disappointing that you cut those options in half by having such restrictive times. Sometimes a guy just wants eggs benny, and when a cafe says the options are steak or battered fish at 11 in the morning, that's just a little bit too restricting.

Sorry guys, I'll go elsewhere next time I'm hungry, unless you can figure out how to optimize your kitchen to cook a better range of meals. Most other cafes...

This place is spacious, good lighting and has a real cool outdoor sitting area just next to the pond. Kids would love watching the turtle and the large fishes. There is also a small waterfall, the sound of which is soothing. Ambience both inside as well as outside are awesome. I come here for my coffees and lunch. Jeremy is always efficient and quick- has a great smile, a tinge of humour and is real friendly + kind(jFYI- not the fake kind - takes real interest). Jenny manages the coffee and makes amazing coffees. Prices are reasonable. Love this place and hats off to Jeremy and Jenny running the well coordinated place. Worth...
