Decided to drop by the Chubby Buns storefront instead of the food truck this time, and I’m glad I did, no disappointment here. Burgers are priced pretty reasonably at around $15–16, which is solid for the portion and quality.

We went with the burger that comes with onion rings and it was seriously delicious. The beef bacon was a pleasant surprise crispy, flavourful, and worked well with the rest of the burger. Everything was sauced nicely and the patty was juicy without being messy. The only letdown? I wish they’d thrown in a few more onion rings.

For an extra $7, you can add a side box of seasoned fries and a canned drink. The fries were seasoned just right crisp with a good kick. All in all, definitely worth it.

No complains with chubby buns or their quality of food but the guy who served me at chubby buns croydon park today was very rude, all I asked was if they re thick shakes are halal he replied saying "how can it not be halal is there any meat in it(with a wicked smile)?" I was left shocked with his response I explained him some of the ice creams or chocolates contains alcohol so in some cases ice creams shakes or anything with chocolates may not be halal, he said "I don't know" he looked at me in a very annoying angry manner when I asked him the halal or not question, as a customer I've the full right to check my dietary queries I believe, Another customer was annoyed with his behaviour and made some comments on his service while leaving the store, I would appreciate if the management looks into this as I'm a regular customer of chubby buns...
