Had a meal this evening. Chicken schnitzel with chips and salad $13 extra $2 if you want gravy the steak, salad and chips is also $13 and extra $2 if you want gravy. Kids meals is $10 and after the meal they can have a little tub of ice cream. Chicken schnitzel was cooked nice and crispy it was beautiful the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the medium rare steak but said it was more like well done. My kids had the cheese burger and chicken nuggets and liked it. I would come back as it was a nice place and nice food.

We went to Colonial Hotel Video Shop to return our DVD & decided to have dinner at their bistro. It was before 7pm and there weren't many around. The entire venue was clean. Staff were polite & helpful. Most important review: Food My daughter had steak. I had the hicken & rocket salad. We loved their food. Service was prompt. The have alfresco dining and we sat outside to enjoy dinner. Steak was juicy My salad was yummy & filling. The chicken was cut ever so thinly & was delicious. Highly recommended.

Food is horrible. Eaten here three times now first time I got a parmy, it was undercooked and tasted bland. Second time I got the spaghetti, it was mainly pasta and pasta sauce, almost no meant and no flavour. Thought I would give it one last chance so I got the butter chicken. The rice is soggy, there is almost no chicken, tasted awful. I paid a extra couple dollars for one tiny papadum which they only give you one of. Overall very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend their food to anyone.

Awesome local crowd from 18 to 80 plus yrs so it’s very welcoming, Staff and Security personnel are friendly too. Live bands are great the bar is massive and seating to watch huge tv screens outside and inside so big game days the place is really pumping . I’m 60 now and usually put aside $20 for a crack at the pokies the big win passes me by but who knows I’ve watched many pull $10-20,000 it possible here guys I’ve seen it myself .as I write this I just won $100 for my $20 investment, not bad . The huge screens are throughout the hotel and section is set up to cater for those who place bets on greyhound and horse racing and the locals will make you feel you actually belong there!, Rare to find packs of locals so easy to converse with . The dining section is big too , A real life poker game runs at certain times pls call to get any extra information like live bands and poker games etc . The poker machine section holds around 100 machines all the latest types with mega win links as well. Please rate my information it helps me with climbing the google guide ratings - nb please note some sections of the Hotel are open to children a child’s playground also on site with a large slide to give kids a fun time while you dine you can see them - security are amazing, Big guys that assure you it’s a very safe environment for families , Car parking holds about 100 cars at night if you want escort to your car the staff are happy to assist. I hope you come and enjoy the Colonial Hotel in Werrington , A 45 minute run from Sydney CBD on the tollway west to Blue Mountains Take The St Claire exit from the tollway and use your google maps to travel another 10 minutes or so to the destination. Cheers Guys James Wilson aka excelpest2002 on...

If I could this no stars I would , I’ve been coming here for years .. and to see this pub go down hill but today just took the cake !! Today we had a booking of large group for Mother’s Day ! We arrived early went to the counter to ask about the table reservations that were booked over a month ago . The regular lady at the front was rude and rushing and told me to go “look for it “ !!! There was no one in the bistro at all ?! Later the rest of party arrived and was then confront with 3 upset mothers who specifically wanted outdoors which they gave our tables away too a smaller party… not necessary..we couldn’t get anyone to fix the issue other then head chef and one older lady working the floor who had just started attidude was great … wow this incabability of this team is rude and out dated and PURE LAZY !! But wait there’s more …. We arrived and ordered for our meal over priced menu , then my underage company’s food came WITH A COCKROACH !!! I adress the situation immediately the head chef was apologetic and told me the lettuce was tripple washed which tells me this is an establishment issue !!! This chef was embarrassed and with a lazy team she was swimming in work while others cruised !!! One refund was made but this was even a poor settlement after some of this meal was ingested. THIS ESTABLISHMENT NEEDS TO BE ADRESSED TEAM ISSUES HEALTH ISSUES AND MOTIVATION ISSUES . Getting paid is easy deserving it is...

We booked seating for 17 people 4pm. We arrived to a fork ,a smashed chip into the carpet and an empty jug under one of the tables. We went to staff to get it cleaned up. Two female staff came over to check. One lady was annoyed we were there before the bistro opened at 5pm. We showed her the reserve table sign which had 4pm. She tried to removed a jug of iced water we had at our table for the children. I had to tell her three times ,it was ours before she slamed one of the cups down. Her arrogance towards us was jaw dropping as she told us the bistro staff would clean it. She picked up the fork, the chip and jug remained under the table for the duration of our stay. Large groups like ours was put on bench seating one side and chairs the other side. Very problematic when you need to get up from yr bench seat, wiggle along to get out to get a drink, order meal and collect meals. It was very hot where we were sitting and uncomfortable. Meal was fair. I...
