Dee Why Bowling Club — Restaurant in Sydney

I recently organised an event at the Dee Why Bowling Club for around 80 people and it was just delightful. Originally planned for 30-40 the almost last minute huge change in numbers didn’t rattle Emily or Joel one bit . They are both true professionals , saying “ more the merrier “ and got on with the job , offering helpful suggestions from day one . We had the $20/ head food and platter option which was plenty for those attending. Emily allowed us to use a cordoned off section of the main bar and any spill over onto the deck , it was very comfortable. The club has several rooms available for hire depending on numbers and type of function. Parking is not a problem as there is a large parking area adjacent to the club . Since October I have been trying to book an event at Dee Why bowls and when they finally got back to me, they were fully booked for the date. I emailed twice myself, used the online request form and called them about 6 times. My friend also emailed them, used the online request form and called them. Each time I rang, I spoke to someone different, left all the details of the booking and was told they would pass the information on to the functions manager and they would call me and confirm. Never got a call back. No one emailed me back until eventually I had to write a comment on their social media which got me an email back. So disappointing because now it's 2 weeks away and I have nothing planned for my work Christmas party. Because I kept giving details and was told I just needed confirmation, I presumed the booking was OK and didn't want to book in...

I can't be grateful enough for the amazing time we had yesterday celebrating my boy 3rd BirthdayParty, everything was perfect, Nicole was very responsive and helpfule and even very accomodatting wheb we had to re schedule, the catering options are very god and reasonable, everything was perfect, the set up of the venue work incredible for the kids but the highlite was the wonderful staff that made everything even better with their friendly attitude, Dee Why Bowling has created the best family friendly place in the Northern Beaches and all my friends had a fantastic time!!!
