Don Adan Coffee Too — Restaurant in Sydney

This cafe is a bit hit-or-miss. Sometimes it's friendly service and great food. Other times, you feel they're just not concentrating. This morning, for instance, the delicious muesli was served with only a few slices of banana, no apple or honey as it has been served a number of times before. No apologies and same price. Couldn't someone have gone to the supermarket just minutes away? The staff can be a bit too young and communication not very good with the owner counteracting customer requests without the customer being aware of this!

Bizarre response from the owner that I can only respond to here. As I originally said, the muesli had been served with honey and apple a number of times previously with no problem at all or need for a request. I complimented them on the dish and the lovely waiter at the time said that the honey was recommended by the local makers of the organic muesli.

The owner should note that there are no "options" for the muesli on the menu, btw. Isn't there consistency in how the food is served?

The owner's response really says he doesn't care. The young man who took my order this morning didn't have a problem with my request to have the coffee and muesli served at the same time and offered to bring the water straight away! This didn't happen and the owner told me it was because he was obeying his instructions which I took to mean, not yours, the customer's.

Called in for a snack today. Ordered 2 sandwiches mine arrived first salmon, cream cheese, and capers very slim pickings served on a far from clean plate the other sandwich was a chicken, avocado and green leafy garnish very small slices of sour dough presumerably the end of the loaf and avocado was no where to b found we were reimbursed for that. We asked for water a number of times before it finally arrived. My daughter from Melbourne was with me and once again Sydney just doesn't come close to Melbourne for service or...

This cafe is…simply grand! Great little spot for a coffee or a cheeky little bite to eat in order to tickle any spots of hunger you may possess. And then there’s the staff, all of which are lovely humans! Very accommodating and professional. I was served by a VERY fine young man with an unusual name (I forget) who took my order with passion and confidence. He then held conversation with me while I waited and was very pleasant and friendly. Now that I think about it I actually might be in love... I’ll be coming back...
