The breads and pies here are great. Some of the sweets like the profiteroles and cannoli tasted like they were made from frozen bases. I found that the breakfasts were a bit average though with poached eggs being over cooked and served with small regular toasted bread which was a bit disappointing for a bakery cafe. Some of the staff were really friendly and helpful while others were clumsy and a little bit abrupt. For the bakery I would definitely come back here but never again for the cafe. Edit: 21/4/22 - After a few years I was in the area again and stopped by to get some lunch. They have a great range of pies and other baked goods to choose from. The mexican pie tasted ok, but was overcooked, a little dry and had almost more cheese than meat in it. I would still rate 3 stars.

I didn’t like the white girl attitude !! She seems like a manager or owner !! She is arrogant and for nothing actually .. I won’t step a foot there for her attitude, I told her not to heat my pie a lot, just tiny and she didn’t listen !! She wrapped my box so horribly like she doesn’t even care .. well !! Dear !! You will lose customers and you can keep that shop empty to practice your horrible attitude on your own. The two Asian girls were absolutely nice and sweet. You don’t deserve them around you actually. What a horrible attitude !! Stay at home dear and leave the business to those who know how to manage it.

Visited here on a Saturday, and had a good experience. Coffee was of good quality and there was such a big selection of pastries and baked goods. We tried the chicken and corn roll, which was nice, and also the standard eggs on toast. Service by the young staff was friendly, and the food didn’t take too long, but wasn’t super quick either (ie made to order food). I’d recommend getting a few pastry snacks while waiting for the other orders. Can get noisy due to kids and families, so it’s not you’re quiet-read-a-book place. Overall very good.

Went there on the weekend and the place is pretty busy but waiting time is reasonable. They have many varieties or options to choose depending what you feel like. Got three different cakes with a coffee this time to try, next time will probably try out their pies. Cakes are well presented and also tasty. Staffs are friendly. There's outdoor seating as well if you have a dog. Would like to have the tag of food name and price next to the item which will be easier to see what they are rather than looking up the signs. Overall is pretty good.

I purchased a cake yesterday 26/9 at around 430 for my mums birthday. I purchased the gorgeous strawberry and pistachio cream sponge cake. Once we cut into the cake and sliced it up for everyone we were applauded by the cake as the strawberries within the cake were all rotten! It was rather embarrassing to serve rotten cake to friends and family. It was honestly inedible as some of the sponge layers reeked of spoilt fermented sponge from the strawberries.

Pies and tarts reviewed: 1xshepards Pie with a small dollop of tomato sauce from a plastic squeezy container on the side; 1xchicken Pie with peas and gravy on top. And tarts. The Shepard’s Pie: on first bite there was a softness and creamyness to the mash and pie juice. It was very moist. The mash was mushy and coated my whole mouth in mushiness. It was great. Would recommend. Chicken pie was good. Would recommend.
