Just wow. New paint, new carpet, a few modern updates, new decor and new check in processes makes for something not seen this far out. It contributes immensely to the overall relaxing atmosphere. It is likened to a modern brewery in the interior. There is a great safe area for kids to dip their toes into the world of socialising while parents discuss plans of.... world domination haha. The café and barroom is the highlight, it spills toward outside seating. The renovation of the DCC has been tasteful and retain historical elements. It creates a joyful experience. The bistro on the other hand needs work. It has always been cursed, I swear. While the food quality is standard, the service lacks proper timing. It was Christmas day, so some leniency is applied. Being an RSL, this venue is licensed to remain open. It was a limited menu, the two roast turkey dishes were lukewarm and arrived 10 minutes prior to the pizza, which in stark contrast was scalding hot. Overall good atmosphere but food need work. A barefoot bowls in the hills would be...
Read moreWe held a Christening function here recently for around 80 people, and Ratchel K & the team at Dural were very accommodating and did a great job. The venue itself is first class, and we were very happy with the dedicated space that was provided for us, which was separated from the public. We had easy access to the bar and used a bar tab which worked out perfectly and was very reasonably priced. The quality of the food (which was provided from Lusso's) was very good and I would have given a 5-star review had it not been for a few issues. The timing of the food and the order in which we wanted it brought out was not done as we had agreed on, and we felt the size of the grazing platter should have been a lot bigger, considering the price we were charged. But apart from that, we had a great time and would highly recommend Dural club to host your event. Thanks again to Ratchel K for a...
Read moreIt's a lovely and fairly old fashioned club. Though you can't tell by the decor. It's been redecorated throughout in gleaming white. Very casino ish . The gambling is tucked away discreetly. Other than the pokies there is two main sections the bar and the restaurant. The restaurant is a third party and poorly integrated into the club . I rate the restaurant as expensive and adequate club food and pizza , the bar area highly , bonus points for the pool and two full size snooker tables. It's very obviously focused on betting with huge screens , but kept silent and everything so spread out it's not intrusive. There's a fair children's play area and a couple of large bowls fields. Parking is excellent and easy...
