My recent family dinner at Enzo’s Cucina in Penshurst was nothing short of outstanding.
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who made us feel completely at home. The open and spacious layout of the restaurant gave it a relaxed, inviting vibe, perfect for a comfortable family meal or a casual evening with friends.
The food at Enzo’s truly lives up to its reputation. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavourful, and made with genuine Italian passion. We started with a prawn pasta that was perfectly cooked, rich with garlic, olive oil, and tomato, simple yet bursting with flavour.
The pizzas were a definite highlight: beautifully thin and crisp bases (not floppy) with generous toppings and authentic tomato sauce that had clearly been lovingly prepared.
The chicken dish was another standout, tender and seasoned just right, served with a delicious side of vegetables that complemented it beautifully.
And to top it all off, we couldn’t resist ordering the Nutella pizza for dessert — indulgent, warm, and perfectly gooey, it was the ideal sweet finish to our meal and a hit with the kids and adults alike.
What really sets Enzo’s apart is not just the quality of the food, but the genuine care from the staff and the sense of being welcomed like family. The service was efficient without being rushed, and the whole experience felt thoughtfully curated to ensure we enjoyed every moment.
We’ll absolutely be returning, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Enzo’s Cucina Penshurst to anyone looking for a delicious, authentic Italian meal in a warm and...
Read moreIt was my first time here tonight with a group of ten including 6 kids/babies. Although they couldn’t find my booking which I made on the website and even received an email (I didn’t confirm the booking), but surely a booking would still be in the system and reserved? Who knows, but thank goodness it wasn’t too busy so they fit us in.
We were so happy with this place. The service was really good, they were all polite and accomodating. The kids $18 deal which includes a meal, a drink from the selection (we chose the kids mocktail which was nice) and ice cream was really great and good value. The kids margarita pizzas were yummy! The Ice-cream options were for the kids had a good variety to choose from. The food was pretty good.
What I really appreciated was that were so accomodating with bringing our own bday cake. No issues with servings us plates and cutlery. They even served the cake we brought on a cake stand which I thought was cute. They packed the left over cake away nicely too. This so me was above and beyond as some restaurants do nothing at all so for this I am giving a 5 star. Pricing was also good. We will be back for sure. Thank you for the...
Read moreI took my wife there last night for her 60th. She has been wanting to try it out and we thought we would test it before booking the whole family in for a night.
I had a Seafood Hotpot and my wife had the Mixed Seafood Grill.
We both enjoyed the food very much, and for seafood dishes the pricing was acceptable.
Although even after I had booked informing them it was her birthday, the advertised “meal free for the birthday guest” was not offered.
We were not impressed with the bread that was served with the side dish (oil & balsamic) or with the HotPot. I expect to have a crispy crust bread with fresh soft inside. This bread was quiet stale tasting.
The other thing they need to do with the decor, is to install some noise suppression ceiling pieces.
The echo of the children who were out of control in a public restaurant was deafening. The parents seemed to think they can bring their children to a restaurant and set them loose on all diners without restraint.
In saying that, we will return to give them another go, only if to try more...
