Reasons why I wouldn't go there again:

We asked a staff member if we could get some onions and his response was " Not now. I'm too busy"

Some of the curries just had chillies thrown in them and didn't have much flavor.

That isn't really much room in there.

Reasons why I would go there again: The chicken tikka is absolutely amazing EVERYONE who goes there and eats chicken should try that.

The nan-bread is fresh and delicious

The butter chicken is amazing too.

We don't expect the food to be perfect and to everybody's taste, as everybody has different likes when it comes to foods... However, what we do expect is to be treated like paying customers not like dirt. And to be told that they don't have time to get items on the menu.. bearing in mind it's a restaurant and that's what people pay for.. and to tell us they don't have time is absolutely ridiculous.

As a result, we will wait for the one to open back up at Newtown and try that...

Their brain masala, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka and naans are up there amongst the best in Sydney (if not Australia). The dining experience is basic but the food is always authentic and delicious. One of those restaurants where we have been going to for years and their food has been consistently great. However, I would not recommend this place for vegetarians as there are limited and not very appetizing options. Also kids may struggle as they have a limited range of "less spicy" options - we found their Mango Chicken average, at best, and the butter chicken was "ok". But go there for what they are known for and you will leave full...

Having tried the enmore store was surprised to see that they had a location in Strathfield. Though it's quite far from the station and doesn't really feel like it's there.

The tandoori chicken was so awesome. Both cuts of the breast and Thigh was amazing. Quite moist throughout. The garlic naan was crispy on the outside but quite thin towards the middle nonetheless I still liked it.

Beef keema matter was a little spicy for me but possibly a lot spicy for other people. Great texture and flavour. The lamb aloo gosht was not bad either.
