Super cute place, really friendly staff, always an interesting rotating collection of cakes, pastries and other miscellaneous food items (jams, sauces, vinegars, etc). Quick service, great coffee, they seem to use different bread every time I go there, even for the french toast, it's really quite charming. I've been there tons of times and I don't think I've ever had a bad meal, they're is a little inconsistent sometimes but, again, I mean that in the best way possible. Sometimes they use syrup and vanilla ice cream in their milkshakes, sometimes they use flavoured ice cream, sometimes they use fancy gelato, sometimes they use regular ice cream, but it's never bad. The best word to describe this place would be charming, they give you these cute little biscuits when you get a coffee, it's great and you get a different one every time. I would recommend the salad sandwich, schnitzel roll and french toast with banana and bacon. The coffee is really bright and fruity and not the strongest I've had, but it's by no means weak and some of the better coffee I've tried. Highly recommend if...

Absolutely one of my local, go-to favourites. The lady who owns this business, Joana is so lovely. I go out of my way to visit this place, to be fair. Best brekkie in the area by miles. Interior is smallish but cosy with an inviting, family feel --- perhaps that's why they don't want half of the inner west's dogs and animals in their shop all the time...i dunno? If it's not a disability/ service animal, Not sure where pets being refused entry to a place where commercial food is being made for the public became a reason for everyone to suddenly trash businesses online, but the aggrieved self entitlement never ends in Oz, apparently. There's additional seating outside, if you feel like some sunshine. Food, coffee, juice and vibes have always been 5 star when I have been, and I've visited multiple times. Decent and fair prices too, in a city gone mad trying to charge you a small mortgage for the basics, these legends have it covered & such tasty food too. Coffee comes with a cute little cookie too which I love. Keep up the great...

where do I start, food is okay, but be prepared to pay for things you didn't know and get an attitude from the blonde owner when you ask about the extra charges. Also the orange juice is way over priced and the blueberries on my fruit bowl were rotten. Here is my receipt, please see attached below, of course, not an accurate receipt, so I had to ask what was each thing on it, as it turns out, OJ is $9 and half of slice of pineapple is $5 ! which she never mention when I order the food. She said to me I asked for extra fruit when I questioned her about that charge/ Anyway I asked her for a refund and she pretend not to be the owner and refuse to refund me the 5$ for the half of slice of pineapple that I NEVER ASKED FOR. Her attitude , I will never go back and make sure people I know, don't go there, only because they are not transparent with their bills...

Beautiful old school cafe nestled in Ashbury. Feels like you are in one of those corner deli stores with all locally and homemade food, pastries etc etc. Great place to just sit back and have "homemade" food and chill. What I really love about this place is its service and quality of food. Very friendly staff and always happy to have a chat with you and a laugh. If you are just after a simple B&E on rye bread or something more, it has it. Need to mention that it serves all day breaky, which is a 10/10. Now let's talk about the coffee. It's a 10/10. There's nothing more to say. It's just that good. I love my Soy latte, and this place uses a very flavoursome bean, which makes my coffee absolutely delicious. Definitely add this place to your list to visit. 👌👌👌
