we came here for a spontaneous latin breakfast and it didn’t disappoint! 😊

this place has a local and comforting vibe and is conveniently placed near the train station. not only do they serve authentic latin cusine but they have snacks as well. we had the arepa and frijolada which was a new and interesting experience. 💃🏻 they frijolada was full of flavour and blended well with the different elements. we really enjoyed the bean soup! all the different elements on the plate went well with each other. the arepa was good however we felt it was missing a bit of salt/seasoning. the pork was cooked perfectly and was super tender. the sauce on the side was delicious!

What a lovely little find! We try and find new breakfast places close to home all the time and happened on this gem! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a Colombian Hot Chocolate and a Dulce de leche which were served with Queso. The saltiness of the cheese cut through the sweetness of the drinks perfectly. For food we tried the empanadas and lentils with rice, chorizo, plantains and a fried egg. Both were very delicious and the rice and lentils was so filling that I might not need lunch today. If you feel like more "traditional" cafe breakfast food, there are bacon and egg sandwich and friends. Finishing up with a strong and perfect long black! Terrible place, quite small and terrible food. I am Colombian so I’ve tried some Colombian restaurants around Sydney and I can certainly assure you that this one is the worst. I went with a Chilean friend who wanted to try some Colombian food. We both ordered a “corrientazo” and a “calentado”, it was such a surprise to when I found out that both dishes came with no meat. What!!! Never in my life have I seen a Colombian plate with no meat so I decided to order pork as an “extra” I was expecting a grilled piece of pork but, wait for it…they came with a little bowl of shredded pork, I have never seen something like that in Colombia.
