George's Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Sydney

New owners Adam and Ann, absolutely lovely people. They show there love in the food they prepair for you. They don't rush you out the door with haft cooked chips. They take there time to ensure you get the best meal. The burger with the lot is a big burger, I haven't finished one yet.and is so good. Charcoal chicken is awesome, the right amount of smoke. All the fried foods are truly recommend, clean oil, good variety on there menu. Salads are fresh and awesome value. It's such a refreshing change from the previous owner. I truly recommend trying George's Charcoal Chicken, you won't be disappointed. . And thanks Adam and Ann for bringing awesome takeaway back...

Thought I'd try these guys out again after not visiting in years. I'm sorry to say that I won't be going back. The calamari rings were like rubber, the seafood stick was dry as were the fish cocktails (but my cat enjoyed the fish) and the potato scallops were so tiny - most places would give you extra scallops to make up for it. I was mostly looking forward to the hamburger and it was okay but the meat in the patty wasn't great, it was dry and tough. The service was good but unfortunately it doesn't make up...

If you are after a great takeaway that has the good old fashioned and traditional hamburgers, this is where you need to go. They are fantastic along with the amazing chips and scallops. Most places are getting too fancy with their burgers these days, so this shop is a refreshing change. They also cook amazing charcoal chickens over the coals which are really tasty.
