POOR MANAGEMENT & POOR FOOD QUALITY. Mandy the manager in particular.
Had an issue with the food, steak in particular. Steak was a pool of blood & well done - requested medium done Hair in the sauce. One staff member advised we are to recieve a refund for our meal and a new one in replacement. Which should be standard customer service when this happens.
20 minutes later, Mandy the manager comes to ask what the issue was from the beginning, she was completely aware mind you as she discussed with the supervisor & staff member prior to approaching us.
She wanted to evaluate and approve a refund if needed, to benefit her side rather than satisfying a local valued customer, especially from a health and safety stand point.
This places management needs to be evaluated as they're not doing right by their customers.
Only person switched on was is the tall red haired lady in the bar. 10/10 service.
Had them remake the food just for the dog.
Will never recommend this RSL to anyone.

Actually, the poor quality of the meal became the talking point of the Mothers Day dinner!! We had such high hopes for our local RSL. Dee Why RSL is by far superior in their catering. The only saving grace of the entire meal was the kids chicken nuggets made for a 3 year old. At least the deep fryer was working for that order. Honestly, if you have to go here for a meal, sneak in a home made sandwich so when your meal arrives and is inedible, you won't starve to death. How can this happen...
Read moreSteak was soo tough I returned and mentioned to the kitchen the issues. The response was we can only control the cook not the quality. Confused as was only given a small refund due to a tiny piece of steak missing and aparently not their fault I ate some. Never had a restaurant say they can't control the product they purchase before. Partner had ribs. A big no on all fronts and again a small fortune for a terrible meal. We will not be returning and shocked at the manager, the chefs (who spent 3-4 minutes touching the tough steak when returned as if I was lying) embarrassing situation to then be given cash at the table by the manager as some sort of return on the experience.
