Grumpy Dads Place — Restaurant in Sydney

I hardly come to this place and only cross this particular location now and then.

Excellent coffee on the most part, but have only had them between 5 -7 times from this place with one time being a complete fail.

Didn't know it had changed hands until very recently so will say the food I had from this place before the changeover was fantastic!

With the changeover - the Empanadas aren't quite done the way I know them to be done so the $6 is far too overpriced for something small and mediocre rather than small and mind blowing. Very watery fillings and not a true Empanada - I have had the real deal in a South American Style restaurant in or near Chatswood. The beef was okay, but the chicken one was terrible!

I would have coffee from this place again, but probably...

Pretty good early morning takeaway coffee and nice almond croissants. Reasonable service times,attentive staff ,excellent barristta, Capiccino and Latte was just right. Croissants were reheated to perfection, nice and crispy. Lots of brunch, breakfast & lunch options on the menu.(fish&chips too) Limited seating inside ,two tables outside.
