I had been waiting a couple of years to visit this establishment. We finally relocated to a relatively closer suburb but because I don't drive in Sydney, I still can't get here and my husband just won't cater to my sweet cravings. Oh well, sure as heck beats having to actually travel to L.A, when we have this store in our own backyard. Nevertheless, I found LA Donuts on Uber Eats and even though there isn't a large selection on the app, I found the perfect chocolate eclairs - oh and donuts! Sinfully, I ordered one box of these delightful delicacies, and that was it - the end..........of my waistline or now, lack thereof. I had ordered, the good old glazed donut, the boston donut, the infamously tasty pineapple donut (my OH's favourite), the chocolate donut and the ever so tasty chocolate eclair. They were all faultless - literally. I NEED to try the Mars Bar and Snickers donut though...... I ordered three days straight over my long weekend, and thank goodness, I had work Monday - long hours and the inability to have them delivered to my workplace, because I'd be too heavy to catch the train, potentially bending the carriages inwards and causing more chaos than any train strike. No fear - it's Friday tomorrow, my usual scheduled day off work followed by the weekend, so guess who's going to be ordering donuts three days in a row again? These four day work weeks are definitely a positive in my opinion. I may even spend even more money I don't have, and catch a taxi to the store just to see these tasty morsels in all their glory. If you're after fresh, variety, the non-greasiness, efficient quick preparation, the absolute be all and end all of donuts and all things diet destroying - then do yourself, your friends and family a favour - recommend this place, then gift them a gym membership. LA Donuts, I will never move from this suburb ever, not whilst your doors remain open. The mediocre 5 star rating doesn't do this place justice. Thank you for restoring my taste buds to tastiness again!

Really don’t appreciate what the owner is saying about me trying to take down another Muslims. Instead of answering the concern you try to divert it into something unnecessary. I initially gave you 4 stars ( the review is there as proof but rating is going down). All I humbly mentioned was about Tim tams, could have just said clarified that. Could have mentioned in your reply to me that you made your own Tim tams if you do that or a simple search of “are Tim tams halal “ or “what is cochineal (aka carmine e120) in Tim tams” would have shown you a concern of some Muslims. Overall disappointed. Original review is below. I stopped by L.A. Donuts in Beverly Hills and had a pleasant experience overall. The highlight for me was the hot chocolate—rich, smooth, and absolutely perfect for a chilly evening. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting on a cold night; it’s a standout item. I also tried the Boston cream donut, which came recommended by the staff. While the custard filling was creamy and flavorful, the donut itself was served cold, which impacted its softness and overall enjoyment. A light warming—especially for dine-in customers—could really enhance the texture and taste. Currently, the donuts are simply packed in a box, even if you choose to eat in. I'd rate the donut itself a solid 3.5 to 4 stars. During my visit, I also mentioned to the staff that some of the Tim Tam products may not be halal. The staff member acknowledged the concern and said she would pass the information along, presumably to the owner. I hope the management takes the time to look into this for the benefit of customers who observe halal dietary requirements. Overall, L.A. Donuts offers large, flavorful donuts at slightly higher prices ( depends on what you get), with friendly service. There’s room for small improvements, but it's definitely worth a visit—especially for that hot chocolate.

I've been twice now. The doughnuts are really well done. Everything is on point - The doughnut itself isn't oily and isn't too dense, it's quite fluffy. Of you keep it overnight and eat it the next day it does become a little more dense for some reason but it's still good. The cinnamon is perfection. The apple pie filling is just tart enough but mostly sweet. The biscoff icing is perfect. I love biscoff biscuits. The lemon cream is omg perfectly tart and not too sweet. The strawberry icing reminds me of strawberry lollies but doesn't taste overly artificial. Passionfruit icing was what would expect, didn't taste artificial. Funnily enough the chocolate icing doughtnut, whilst it was well done (no complaints) was the least exciting one out of the 6 I've tried. This is not criticism, I love chocolate but the other 5 just completely outshine it. Size of doughnuts is good as you can see in the attached pics. Keen to try more. Prices are great and not obnoxious like some of the places in the city/inner west. The only criticism I have is the owner might want to train/inform their staff - the first time I visited I asked what kind of jam was in the jam doughnut (I know it's usually raspberry but nothing wrong with checking, right?). The girl said, "errr just normal jam". I stared at her incredulously for 3 seconds before saying, "yeah, what kind? Strawberry? Raspberry?" She looked at me blankly, it was like she had never had jam in her entire life which is bizarre to me. So clearly she hadn't tried the product. Luckily there was another girl working the counter, turns out she was the owner's daughter and yes it was a good thing that she knew the answer straight away. As front of house, you do represent the business and should therefore know the product you are selling.

LA donuts have taken my previous review down unfairly and are trying to silence me. here is my experience working at La Donuts

I worked at La donuts for 3 months and experienced bullying, exploitation and was severely underpaid. This business is awful and the way the managers treat staff here is insane. For instance we wouldn’t be able to take our 10 minute breaks even when the store wasn’t busy. I would be told to do things that I hadn’t been trained to do and if I did something wrong I would be verbally harassed infront of customers and colleges. Furthermore I would work weeks on end without receiving payment as when I first started and worked many shifts I wasn’t getting paid despite me numerously bringing this up. This worsens however as when I eventually was paid (4 weeks later) I was severely underpaid for my role as an 18 year old casual despite me taking this up with the manager and asking for a pay slip ( which was also never sent to me ☺️) kinda crazy no?? Fast forward to me asking my manager to take a weekend off as I was mentally exhausted from work and school as well as my dog passing away which would later leave to me not receiving shifts again and being fired without ANY reasoning. This went on for weeks of me messaging the managers wondering on why they where ghosting me and what the reasoning was. It wasn’t until there payroll person had accidentally paid me close to $1000 by accident to which I reached out to the manager to alert her about this and send the money back as I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble. In summary this business underpaid me (which is illegal) over worked me so I couldn’t take my breaks (which is also illegal), fired me without any reasoning despite numerous asking and overall ruined my mental health. I don’t say this to be petty or get attention but I say it to share my truth and experience working at LA Donuts. So yea if your thinking about working here maybe try some...
