Narwee Vietnamese Bakery — Restaurant in Sydney

Could not get much worse. Lady has terrible depressing attitude everytime i go there (hope she's ok). She'll lie right to your face too just to sell something, i've asked her directly 'is this beef pie' she says 'yeah' only to find out its an old chicken pie. She just doesn't care even to regulars. Cash only ofcourse so you can't have recourse. To make it worse, many bakery items are 'devalued' eg muffins with just a few blue berries or chocolate only on front part of the pastry rest dry. Shrinkflation but on steroids. I've tried giving benefit of the doubt so many times but 80% has been just a negative experience both in service and product. All for supporting local places but i just can't with this one unfortunately, best to stay away and maybe the next business owner will do better starting with a smile then actually caring about their product...

I have been eating here for over a decade. I have ignored the rude customer service from the lady. I have ignored the random flies in the display cabinet and have ignored the dirty ceiling and generally grubby back of store as their bread and pies are nice. But my recent trip frustrated me. They ran out of long rolls and wanted to charge me the same price for smaller rolls. Apart from the resident flies in the display cabinet, it was the tongs dropping on the floor and the guy picking them up and proceeded to grab the pies and sausage rolls with them. It’s not hard to drop them in the sink and get some clean ones or even giving them a quick rinse and wipe. I have been warned by other locals that no longer buy from them but that was the last straw for me. I’d rather travel further and pay more instead of risking getting food...

The rosetta rolls here used to be the best! Large & crunchy but unfortunately not anymore. Whilst the cost has increased, the size of the rolls has become very inconsistent but much smaller overall and they have also lost their crunch factor!...
