High Flyer Hotel — Restaurant in Sydney

Staff were lovely and the food was great from the pub, however the accommodation was well below average. The room smelt like mildew and was in need of a good clean. Light in bathroom didn’t work (only the heat lamp) and there was a pile of dirty towels left sitting in the rain outside my window (which left me questioning the cleanliness of the towel in the bathroom). The AC didn’t work and when it did blow air, it blew chunks of dirt all over the bed (the AC clearly had not been cleaned in months/years). There was constant grinding (from the factory behind) until 11pm (which is not ideal when you need an early night for an early rise). Even though this was the closest accommodation to where I needed to be, the next night I paid an extra $20 and stayed at a hotel 10 mins away with a clean room and appliances that worked as...

We had a wake for my late brother yesterday at the hotel with 60 people attending. I could not be happier with the staff, service and food. Nearly every attendee commented how lovely the food and service was on the day. From the time of booking to the day of the event, everything was easy and smooth. The staff went out of their way to accommodate everyone and the service was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. A big thank you to Micky, Michael, Rosa and the chef!! Your kindness and exceptional service I will always remember and appreciate your efforts for the celebration of my brother’s life. Went in for dinner. Had the pork ribs, rump, eye fillet, garlic pizza and lamb souvlaki. The ribs and garlic pizza were both great. The lamb souvlaki was very tender (however could have done with a bit more seasoning). The quality of the rump was much better than the eye fillet IMO. The mushroom sauce needs a bit of work (unfortunately did not have much flavour). Was also really looking forward to having the ribeye which was not available when ordering (via table QR), however was on the online website menu. Customer service was amazing and faultless (very hospitable and welcoming). Ample carpark and both indoor and outdoor seating available.
