It's absolutely wonderful to have a local place to visit. They've done a great job with the fit-out and for juggling all the bureaucratic hurdles.
While not necessarily negative, I think three relatively minor improvements will help to make this place even better: Lighting - the lights inside are too bright. The 'vibe' can be made even better by dimming the indoor lights. Music - even if there's already mucic playing, it can't be heard. The only sound I could hear clearly was that of other people talking, and their voices echoeed throughout the venue. Carefully placed speakers with music playing at a higher volume will provide an even warmer welcome. Outdoor seating allowing dog owners to bring along their (well-behaved) pooch would increase the popularity of the venue with people who want to drop in for quick drink on their way home from a walk.
Well done and thankyou for bringing this venue to our local...

Fantastic wines, two brilliant scotch whiskeys, Australian distilled gins and rum, and a vast array of craft beers. Also an alcoholic ginger beer and sour raspberry cider, just to keep it interesting. And the best monthly trivia, run by Karl on a Wednesday, is gentle, wry and clever; you usually need to book in to trivia advance. Lots of other events on...

Went on a Sunday night and it was such a great place to have a conversation with friends. Close to the station means a sneaky drink and amazing ambiance before you go home. Would highly recommend.
Looking forward to the gin tasting and trivia night that are coming up. For a street that has always been dead after 6pm, it's exciting to see something that caters to the after work...
