Followed path from Close Street Reserve - it’s a beautiful walk by the river with awesome views pretty much anytime of the day. Lots of joggers, cyclists, people walking their dogs or just out for a walk. You can walk along both sides of the river , there’s a few bridges along the track connecting both sides, spotted a little mail box to leave or borrow books. Council is in the process of building a skate park with various rails n benches ( 2022 ). There’s also a dog park up at Close Street, which was a bit muddy due to all the rain, it has a few obstacles, nice to stop & let doggy go for a run...

Lovely park. There's a designated space to play, stroll, sit and chill.

There's a really nice deck at the entrance, like a pseudo pier of sorts (we do yoga there sometimes with friends).

When I was there last, there were kids soccer matches on, plenty of people cycling and running and walking.

4 stars though for two reasons: bathrooms not maintained at all which I feel should be a must in any public park especially of this scale.

And two, people are sometimes cold(ish) / passive aggressive - cyclists are unhappy with walkers and joggers...

Bordered by the Cooks river which in this area has had a makeover with the removal of steel sheeting on the banks returning it to a more natural state. The park has a large field for cricket in summer and several soccer fields in the cooler months, little playground and a good covered area with BBQ's. small hills for the kids to roll down and ride the bike over. One day the council will get organised enough to actually build a small community centre and cafe where the old tennis courts are which will be a...

This is a gorgeous place to go for a fitness walk. Plenty of path along the Cooks River and lovely tree cover. There’s also a cute bridge to walk across. I even met a nice local gentleman, and we were talking of the wonders of the modern mobile phone and how that kind of computer used to take up entire rooms. 😂 There is a playground for the kids and a couple bbqs. Well kept cricket/sports ground. All around beautiful local park. The toilets could use some work, though. But don’t let that deter you from the loveliness.

Lovely public park featuring soccer fields ⚽, waterfront walk, toilets and ample parking. For a youth soccer game, Ewan Park has some of the best amenities. Even a defib! Now we're talkin'. There is a playground as well, although a bit distant from the soccer fields. There's quite a substantial amount of parkland, and my guess is this is one of those Google Maps listings that conflates a few different areas. The walkway borders the Cooks River and is quite pleasant for a walk.

Great place for walkers, runners, dog-people and their canine friends, cyclists, kids and family gatherings. A real social hub by the river bridge on weekends and Bank Holidays, when a great little coffee cart caters for your daily caffeine fix and mich more. And kayaks available to hire on Sydney's gentlest river at really good rates with Cooks River Kayaks. If only the Council would sort out running water to the new toilet block....
