I recently visited Hungry Jacks in Parklea, Sydney with my family, including two young kids, and I must express my extreme disappointment with the service and the repeated instances of missing items from our orders. This has unfortunately not been an isolated incident, as it has happened several times in the past, and it is disheartening to have such experiences with a well-known fast-food chain.
During our visit yesterday, we ordered a cheeseburger kids meal, a medium supper stunner meal with an iced coffee, and a vegan burger meal. However, we discovered that several items were missing from our order. The drumstick, iced coffee, and three pieces of nuggets were all absent. While we did have the opportunity to approach the counter and request the missing items, it was frustrating to have to repeatedly go back to rectify the incomplete order. Even after bringing the matter to their attention, we still had to return to the counter for the sweet and sour PC on the iced coffee.
This experience not only left us dissatisfied as customers but also raised concerns about the overall representation of Sydney as an international city. As a popular tourist destination, it is crucial for establishments like Hungry Jacks to uphold a high standard of service. Instances like these can leave a negative impression on visitors from around the world, which is unfortunate considering the reputation Sydney holds.
Furthermore, such repeated instances of missing items reflect poorly on the image of Hungry Jacks as a global brand. Consistency and accuracy in delivering orders should be a fundamental aspect of any fast-food establishment, and the repeated failures in this regard are concerning.
Having to consistently deal with incomplete orders and rectify them not only wastes our time but also dampens the overall dining experience. It is disheartening to have to constantly question whether the order will be complete or not, which takes away from the enjoyment of dining out with family.
In conclusion, my recent visit to Hungry Jacks Parklea, Sydney was marred by the repeated instances of missing items from our orders. This not only reflects poorly on the establishment but also casts a negative light on the city of Sydney as an international destination. I sincerely hope that this feedback reaches the management, prompting them to address these issues and improve the overall service quality and consistency.
Note: While I appreciate the staff's prompt apologies and efforts to rectify the missing items, it is essential for Hungry Jacks to ensure that such incidents are minimized or eliminated to maintain customer...
Read moreI am very very unhappy with this restaurant. I was ordering through the app, and chose a restaurant. I went on the maps on the app to 100% make sure i checked the correct store. I clicked this store and made the order. I waited in the drive thru line for nearly 20 minutes before we got up to the speaker box. I tried to explain to the person at the speaker that i had made an online order and she thought i kept saying to order a frozen coke which was extremely frustrating. i finally got her to understand that i had made an online order and told me they don’t do online orders. she told me she can’t help me and couldn’t give me a refund even though it had already taken the money out of my account. she told me i had to go to another store to pick it up and that’s the closest store to do an online order (we were heading back up to newcastle so this was out of the way for us). she was very rude to me and did not apologise at all for that fact we just waited in line for nearly 30 minutes by the time we got to the last window. we went to the other store and they were very kind and were very fast. the food was hot and fresh (rouse hill).
i have been to other hungry jacks stores that have given me refunds for all types of mistakes, so i don’t understand why they couldn’t have given me the refund? i’m very disappointed with my experience and will not...
Read more1:15pm Friday - We had a bad experience at the drive-thru. After waiting for a while with cars in front and behind, there was nobody at the first window to take any orders. So, we assumed that they were taking orders at the pick-up window only to hear that they told us to take the order at the beginning of the drive-thru again because they said there was someone there. I told them that there wasn’t and then proceeded to tell them that we wanted to order right there on the spot. They refused. One of them didn’t want to talk to their manager because she felt that the manager would get mad at her. So, they still refused to take the order.
My partner and I ended up parking and walking in and complain to the manager, either it was “Bindu” or “Jasmine”. The manager didn’t do anything either. It felt like bunch of rookies work here and don’t know how to treat their customers.
Out of courtesy for wasting our time, they could’ve taken the order at the pick-up window, but they did not. Crappy service at this Hungry Jacks. Be careful. We suggest going to another Hungry Jacks or go to their rival McDonald’s where the drive-thru actually works.
Yeah, they probably will just complain about us in the back for calling them out, but these are what...
