I would love to show you the photo of my food. A prime example of why you don't upset service staff. I have never had such a horrible experience at one of your restaurants. At the smithfeild store, i was greeted by a sign saying drive through only after 10:30pm on the door. I headed to drive through. "Sorry we are closed" i was told. "What time do you close" i asked. "11" she said. I informed her it was not yet eleven and I'd like to order (10:55). "No, sorry". Then i mentioned head office should probably like to know that they are closing early. "What would you like" was her reply. As i passed the first window a pissed off young man gave me a filthy look as he grabbed a bag of buns. At the second window the young lady was apologetic, and told me that their clock said ten past eleven. I pointed out to her that my phone (network linked), a google search of the correct time, AND the time stamp on my receipt all pointed out that it was still not yet 11. Whilst my order was bagged, the young man came to stand by the register and continue with his filthy looks. He had no other reason to be there. I thanked them and drove out. Whilst checking my order in the car park i had the following. A meat patty so shrunken it barely covered 50% of the bun. Warmish, dry fries. A thick shake that just didn't feel very cold. And hot nuggets. Fries first. Yuck. No thanks. Now the burger. The bun wasn't steamed or warm. Just straight from the bag, except for a sticky bit on top. Two bites in and it just did not taste right at all, so i shoved that back in the bag. Wash it down with the shake. Well that was the idea. It was so sickly sweet and warm that it made me feel ill. I removed the lid and saw dark swirls in it. Either something like caramel sauce was added, or the machine isn't operating properly. Nuggets. Well they were hot, and seemingly fresh. The first one had a massive chunk of gristle in it, that had to be spat out. And that's it. My money and my time wasted, all because some little twit got angry because he thought he was going home early. I am convinced my meal was as it was on purpose, and tampered with. The next two hours of my road trip were made very uncomfortable and tense because my stomach was gurgling, and the stress of possible food poisoning.

Whatâs happened to me:
I was sick and I ordered my food delivery but never came. Probably the delivery went to the wrong address. After hours waiting, I personally went to the restaurant (4km away) and claimed my order but the restaurant manager âArifâ has firmly said that the restaurant has no responsible for this matter because I have ordered through Menulog company and paid for Menulog, not directly to Hungry Jacks so the restaurant manager told me to claim it from Menulog only. I nicely asked the manager to try to solve this situation for me when I was sick and very hungry but the manager still said he canât do anything. My question is when I order food from Uber Eat company then I complain with them issues happening. But here, I ordered my food directly from the Hungry Jacks App then I canât discuss anything when issues happen like this situation. Do customers should understand that they only do business with Menulog company when they ordered food directly from Hungry Jacks restaurant App, NOT MENULOG APP. I am extremely disappointed the way the restaurant manager has refused to solve the solution. If it clearly doesnât mean he is responsible for this so the Hungry Jacks restaurant should be responsible for this misleading and the company of Hungry Jacks App should clearly mention about who and who are responsible for this wrongdoing. Please clarify with sense of professional customer support but DO NOT USE TERM AND CONDITIONS because 99% of customers donât know about that when they plan to organise a fun dinner at home and expect to enjoy a delicious burger with their families. *Way back home with my hand empty, stomach empty and of course no refund. I ordered a 6 burger family meal with 12 nuggets and an extra Angry Whopper with extra angry onions on its own (the only burger from HJ that I eat). Upon receiving my order the staff member said âwere you the one that ordered the angry whopper and other burgersâ to which I replied yes he handed me the bag and drinks, I get home the only burger that I wanted isnât there my sister tells me that this HJs has a nack for forgetting burgers and hasnât received her order properly multiple times in the past. I drove back 30min trip all up as this is the only halal HJs near me. When I get to the window and tell the same server you forgot my burger he calls his manager over and I explain that my order wasnât given to me correctly he asks his staff member if he forgot it away from the window so I canât hear them discussing, I could, the young server replies to his manager, âI gave him the bag with everything in it, he ordered 40min ago, heâs talking shitâ
To which I replied I live on the other side of town itâs not a close drive why would I come back if I was lying. Why would I go back just for a burger, itâs not the burger itâs the principle. Itâs not our job as customers to check the bag and the one time I didnât I drive all the way home and had to go back.
I went through a good back and fourth with the manager as he didnât believe me after showing him proof of purchase and everything else, he asks for a receipt, which I wasnât given by his staff any way and in the end he finally says âokay Iâll give you the burger because Iâm trusting youâ are you serious itâs just a burger and why would I lie about a burger I just want my food.
By the time the burger was brought to me I was turned off from eating after being made out a liar and having to fight to get what I paid for.
I will never go back to HJs again I would rather eat haram food then have to deal with staff like the ones at this Hungry Jacks. If I could negative star ratings for customer...
