My little family are local and usually enjoy a quick dinner every so often here. Tonight, Sunday 27th August we had a terrible experience because of a staff members attitude. It should not have been an issue at all. The kids meal I ordered for my son was incorrect and when my husband went up to return the meal and mentioned it wasn't the right one he was told he was the one that ordered the incorrect meal. That was strange since when the meal was delivered the staff that delivered it annouced the correct meal details. When the almost corrected meal arrived we were given tomato sauce instead of gravy. When i stopped the staff and mention this instead of just saying she'll fix it or get the right thing she was very rude again and said it only comes with sauce. I said the menu says sauce or gravy. She said you have to order gravy. I said we did. She snatched the sauce and rudely huffed away. I was quite upset about this and went up to speak to a manager. While speaking to the manager the staff rudely interrupted and spoke over me and her manager saying she was very busy and the only one on the floor. Im sorry but that's not my problem or reason enough for you to be rude to us. Ask your managers here for help. I was offered the option to speak to a higher manager. He came over and spoke to us and was trying to show us the incorrect docket that was put through from a different staff member. But for us it wasn't about the order it was the staffs attitude and rudeness. He apologised but unfortunately this did not help us feel better about the situation. The staff needs to work on her attitude and stress management when its busy or change jobs. We wont be eating here again anytime soon or at all which is a shame as...

"Jamison Hotel" hmmm, I think that should say "Motel", because it is nothing more than that, I can assure you.
Checking in; You are required to walk through the front of the pub to the bar to check in, so if you are unfortunate enough to spend a night here, make sure you leave your luggage in the car until you have your room key, in our experience, upon arrival the booking was lost, took 20+min and four staff members to figure it out, paid $270 for two nights at a below average "hotel" with hostel living conditions. Access to the rooms is via a corridor at the side of the building, which has a feeling that can only be described as "jail" like, conveniently positioned, is the smoking area, which is located between the two buildings accessible by the same corridor, so you can get your daily dose of passive smoke as you open your door. The atmosphere is unsettling and noisy, you can hear people's conversations and noise from two rooms away, and not to mention the pub patrons, my wife did not feel comfortable to walk to the car alone. I regret staying here, and wish I could...

Chicken pie and schnitzel both ruined by vomity mash. How? How do you stuff up mash so badly? That's a commitment. I'm so sad to have to find a new local for the footy :(
Edit 2022 May: ohhh dear..... deserted restaurant on a Friday for a panthers v Eels match. Decided to get dinner, chef must have been watching the game on his phone.... pork belly salad had such merit.... what came was a bowl of old cos lettuce, undressed with ONE slice of cucumber some stale carrot and cheap pork belly that was 60% pure unadulterated fat. To top this the lasagne was microwaved and cold in the middleand the cheese wasn't melted. What happened jamo? We came in two months ago and everything was brilliant!
2021: Quiet pub lunch, great service but the grill needed a decent clean as lunch had the lacking traits of "ohh I can taste the grill" but everything else...
