I usually only leave reviews for places that really impress me.
Walking in, I instantly felt like I’d stumbled into a hidden little spot down an alleyway in Japan. The open kitchen gave me confidence right away, and the warm greetings from the staff made me feel at home.
We ordered the pork katsu curry, dosa ramen, and chicken katsu don, and every dish was outstanding. The flavors were spot-on, the portions just right, and the prices very fair.
The dining area was spotless, which made me trust the place even more. I also noticed that most of the customers were Japanese, which says a lot about how good it is. I really hope nothing changes here—it’s the kind of restaurant I’ll definitely keep...

Outdoor seating is available and also some tables can be arranged indoors too. Japanese manga/comics & magazines are also available to browse on the book racks. Friendly staff. The Japanese fried rice is well made with short-grain rice 👍and the chicken katsu is tasty as well. Update after covid lockdown, the price has gone up a bit, but they are still under $15/rice bowl (with the exception of unagi don and even that only costs you $16) I can’t complain.
The food and seasoning are perfect. This is the best oyakodon, chicken teriyaki and chicken karaage I’ve ever had.
