I am a delivery driver Went here to pick up food for a customer tonight at 8 50 pm on Monday 27 January 2025 A lady standing there told me its coming, its been made I said ok. I guessed it will take maximum of 10 minutes. No problem i will wait I went back to my car and went in after 7 8 minutes. After being ignored for 5 minutes this lady who had a badge named luke said its gonna take like 30 minutes cuz the chicken has to be made again and thats it I was shocked and i confronted that you should have told me before i already have spent more than 30 minutes on this trip and was told before that its coming( by coming it usually means maximum of 5 to 10 minutes) She was very rude and said to me i dont care and it was not me who told you before. I said ok it was not you but another lady. But at least be sorry about it. She again said it was not me who told you before so she kept on being rude. Okay i went back to my car and msged the customer the situation Now after like 10 minutes the customer calls kfc and msgs me that you are not going in to grab the delivery and they will not cook it unless i go in. I again got shocked I went it and this time the manager vincent said to me the customer is coming by themself to pick their order I asked him why is that He said i checked all the parking area and you were nowhere to be found I was right there in front of the main entrance in white Prius c(you can check the cameras) Now i tell this manager that i was told to wait 30 minutes and i was in my car Same rudeness continued and now this lady luke comes and says i only asked you to wait 15 to 20 minutes
Then why would they lie to the customer? The customer reported me idk if i will able to deliver anymore or not
To the customer its food To the staff they are getting paid hourly Us the delivery driver get paid for an order at a time.
Also to mention i was doing a doordash delivery Why would I deliberately sit in a car for no reason. Doordash doesn’t pays like uber
Completely unacceptable behaviour and also to mention anybody working in hospitality are a team not individuals.
They should be sorry for any inconvenience happening to the customer or the delivery driver and not be like no i was not here so i have the license to...
Read moreAfter 51 years on this earth I have just had the worst fast food experience and as a former Marketing Director of Pepsico I am sad to relay that it was KFC that hold the dubious honour of providing me the worst fast food experience ever, yes, as you can imagine the competition is stiff, but this episode wins because it was so appalling on numerous fronts.
I attended a drive through at Engadine KFC and waited 12 minutes for them to serve 3 cars ahead…pretty slow, not a good start.
I was only buying for myself but was pretty hungry so ordered the 3 piece pack and bought an extra 2 pieces @ a cost of $3 each despite a sticker advertising 4 for $6.95. On arrival at the pick up window I was greeted by a young fellow who wanted to hand me a box, I requested a bag, and he proceeded to put the box in the bag with no regard for gravity as a consequence the chips and chicken were all messed up and looked like they had been through a whirlpool.
On arrival home I opened the box and saw 3 of the smallest pieces of chicken I had ever seen, remember I am 51 years old, seen the odd piece of chicken in my time. What annoyed me was not only where the pieces small but 3 of my 5 pieces were drumsticks or wings, with hardly half a mouthful on each. Lucky I got the extra 2 pieces.
This annoyed me but the proverbial straw was when I opened the potato and gravy, a small tub for sure, even smaller when it is less than half full. Not knowing whether I was being punk’d or not I laughed and chose to share my experience with KFC Engadine the store I purchased from.
After explaining to the “Assistant Store Manager” she offered to replace the 3 small pieces. Curious I sort clarification, “so you want me to endure this experience, drive back to your store so you can partly replace my order?”. Yes was the curt reply you don’t have to do it tonight.
I think you are missing the point was my response I I set of to outline me KFC experience and share with as many people as possible.
This all on night I was racing home to watch the KFC Big Bash on TV, unfortunately I had no KFC to eat whilst viewing.

Ordering from this was fine but when we got our order we were missing our gravy and when asking for them we got a “oh we don’t have any and we’d have to wait maybe 5-10minutes” They did not offer anything else to be replaced till we asked can we have a coleslaw Our order took longer than expected and when we did got them, they were poorly boxed and burgers looked like they were just thrown together with no care factor and not wrapped properly as they fell apart when opening the paper! Sat at a table for the 5 of us and my 7yr old grandson got sauce all down his leg due to sliding across the padded bench seat which obviously wasn’t cleaned! Asked for one of the workers to at least clean the mess and also mentioned how disgusting dine in was as none of the tables were wiped down or the floors swept up of all the food that was still there! Now I know why there’s a wait on certain foods as the young guy behind the counter getting orders packed looked like he was in a rush and he was putting nuggets in the box provided, well they kept on dropping on the floor didn’t they. It wasn’t busy in there or drive thru and someone could’ve at least cleaned up not to mention the bins were full to the top and I did mention this also.
