Indian Masala — Restaurant in Sydney

Indian Masala was absolutely spectacular. The owner AJ owns another Indian restaurant in Padstow that I've been going to for many many years now - so when I heard he had opened one up in Engadine close to my partner, I was absolutely thrilled. We ate here tonight for the first time and enjoyed a lovely catchup chat with AJ. He's extremely kind, hospitable, and clearly knows good food. The dishes we have sampled so far from this restaurant remind me of the Indian I used to eat and love when I lived in London and I ate from the well known Authentic Indian Streets. So flavoursome but light on your tummy.

The owner of this restaurant is so lovely and accommodating. One night when his drivers had finished work, he drove it to us himself. My husband has also gone in to pick the food up and the friendly reception was so lovely.

We went for a Eagle Rock track and decided to go to few kilometres to the opposite side just for a Lunch at around 4, however it was worth it. Food was delicious and especially quantity was very good compared to many other restaurants. My friend and I tried Butter panir masala, garlic naan and lassi. Curry was enough for 2 person.
