Extremely Disappointed – Missing Item and Poor Customer Service
I placed an order today through the KFC app for the Double Zinger Feast deal, which clearly includes two Zinger burgers, 2 regular chips, 2 drinks, and 10 nuggets — all for $12. I chose KFC Liverpool for pickup and collected my order via drive-thru.
To my disappointment, when I got home and opened the bag, I found that one Zinger burger was missing. Everything else was there — just not the second burger, which was the main reason I went for this deal.
I immediately called the store. First, I was told the payment hadn't been processed yet, so they couldn’t help. This made no sense — if payment wasn’t processed, why was I given the food? I checked my bank app, and the payment clearly shows as debited to KFC Liverpool.
When I called again, I was told their system only shows one Zinger burger in my order — even though the deal is called Double Zinger Feast. I also checked my email confirmation from KFC, which clearly lists all the items, including two Zinger burgers.
How is it that the app, email, and my order confirmation all show two burgers, but the store’s system only shows one? It felt like they were just trying to dismiss my concern without taking real responsibility.
I’ve now lodged a complaint as advised, but this whole experience has completely ruined my evening. I’m a huge Zinger fan, and I chose this deal specifically for that.

Regarding the food, it was decent but didn't quite meet the high standards typically associated with KFC. The chicken lacked the signature flavor and juiciness I've come to expect from the brand, and the sides were somewhat underwhelming in taste and portion size.
On a positive note, the staff members were courteous and efficient in serving customers despite the store's limited space. Their friendly demeanor helped alleviate some of the discomfort caused by the crowded environment.
In conclusion, my experience at the Liverpool KFC was average, earning it a rating of 3 out of 5. I sent my son in to check and he came outside saying one of the girl staff members was having a moment. The same girl came outside with a crumpled brown paper bag asking what we had ordered. By this stage we were extremely late for our appointment in grays point, I said to the girl I didn’t want the food any longer and wanted a refund. She went inside and now both myself and my son were inside wondering how long a refund would take. By the time we left the store it was 155pm and I had been charged twice for a meal I never received then refunded eventually. This is appalling, the staff are rude and unable to manage staff nor customers. There was no customer service nor satisfaction a number of other customers were complaining as well. I have never had this service before and am quite disappointed disgusted and outraged. After reading the reviews I can see this is not a one off issue.
