La Salvatore Pizza — Restaurant in Sydney

We have been customers of this place for the past four years since moving to the area, but our recent experience has been nothing short of disastrous. The pizzas we received were the worst we have ever had.

Firstly, the pizza crust was not cooked properly. It was underdone and doughy, which made for an extremely unpleasant texture. Moreover, the base was so thin that you could see the sauce through it, giving the pizza an odd, almost translucent appearance. The taste was equally disappointing and left a weird aftertaste.

Our frustration was compounded when we called to complain. The gentleman who answered the phone was utterly dismissive and indifferent to our concerns. It was clear that he did not care about our dissatisfaction or about retaining us as customers.

After years of being regular patrons, this will be the last time we order from this place. The quality has plummeted, and the customer service is atrocious. We are extremely disappointed and cannot recommend this...

When I first walked in I noticed the small cafe style restaurant was old and in desperate need of a good makeover. But I saw that it could be a cozy little old Italian place. I sat at a table with a menu and my family trying to decide if we were comfortable to stay. We decided that an open front door on a cold winter's night with delivery staff coming in and out didn't make for a warm cozy place to eat. So we ordered take away. Ordered just after 6pm. Received an sms saying delivery at 7.50 pm. Rang the store and asked if the delivery was at 7.50. Person answering the phone said yes we are busy. I then asked for a refund, had to prepay via app, as I couldn't wait that long. Owner gets on the phone said sorry its a mistake delivery will be at 7.15 Still a long wait , I thought I would wait until 7.15. By 7.40 still hadn't arrived so called the store and apparently delivery was on the way. Driver arrived a short time later and I asked why it wasn't delivered at 715 as promised, and I was told the food wasn't even ready at that time.
